This restaurant changed our entire perception towards Polish cuisine. In one word if i had to describe it, I would say BEAUTIFUL not only the food but every little thing. The decor, the staff, the hospitality is just too good. We had made a reservation for 8 and they had made sure we didn't have to wait even a minute after reaching there. These are the things we tried : BAKLAZAN - roasted aubergine/ chicken thighs and vegetable filling/ Polish Bursztyn hard cheese/tomato salad with sour creme. KARKOWKA - roasted pork neck/green peppercorn sauce/ cauliflower with crispy breadcrumbs. GOLABKI - cabbage leaf rolls filled with green vegetables and baked with double cream/ toasted bread Polish sourdough bread with herby olive oil. KIELBASA - baked smoked Polish sausage/ onions and tomato ragu PIEROGI - Polish classic dumplings! Pierogi of the day. KHACHAPURI - Mini Georgian deep pizza with blue cheese/ cheddar/ cottage cheese and egg yolk. FLORAL FIZZ - BLACK CHERRY VODKA, HOMEMADE LEMONADE, RASPBERRY SYRUP SASKA MARTINI - SASKA COFFEE AND BRANDY VODKA, CHERRY VODKA TOPPED WITH CREAM BIZON - ZUBROWKA VODKA, APPLE JUICE, FRESH MINT, LEMON PORZECZKA - BLACKCURRANT VODKA LIME, ELDERFLOWER TONIC We then tried their signature home made Polish Cheesecakes - Cherry & Chocolate which I would rate 3/5 The portion size is fair enough. Value for money I would rate 4/5. Drinks were amazing 5/5. Ambience 5/5. Service 5/5 Please note : if you are a vegetarian who doesn't eat eggs then there are only 2-3 veg dishes available on the menu. They do a brunch menu till 1 pm and the lunch menu starts from 1 pm onwards.

Delightful Polish Restaurant We recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming Polish restaurant, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we walked in, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their attention to detail was impressive, and they were particularly good at ensuring everything was just right, even down to spelling our names correctly on personalised menus—a thoughtful touch that did not go unnoticed. The food was an absolute delight. Each dish was beautifully presented, showcasing traditional Polish flavours with a modern twist. From hearty pierogi to succulent kielbasa, every bite was a celebration of authentic cuisine. The menu boasted a generous array of options, catering to all tastes and dietary requirements, which made choosing just one dish quite the challenge! The drinks menu was equally impressive, offering everything from traditional Polish vodkas to an extensive selection of wines, beers, and soft drinks. There was truly something for everyone. What really set this place apart was the relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're there for a cosy meal with family or a casual night out with friends, the ambiance strikes the perfect balance between warm and vibrant. Overall, this Polish restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with excellent service, delicious food, and a welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be returning and would encourage anyone looking for an authentic taste of Poland to visit—you won’t be disappointed!

If you haven't been to Platzki, you are missing out. I had a booking for 18, so it required £10 deposit per person (pretty standard). Almost half of the table was veggie or vegan and they have accommodated to us despite Polish cuisine being more meaty. If you are not from Poland: it's an opportunity to try traditional Polish cuisine. If you are from Poland: it's opportunity to taste home again. The portions are very generous and you definitely get your value of money. All the ingredients are fresh and beautifully plated, when you'll come, prepare yourself for huge feast! It's impossible to leave hungry, everyone have praised food as well. The staff were incredible and really helpful with making a choice (I would like to just try all). The alcohol choice is great too, really recommend flavoured vodkas and cocktails. For starters I had lard on sourdough with pickles, pierogi dumplings with mushrooms and potatoes, venison with potato pancakes (platzki) for main and apple cake for dessert. The best Polish food, on par with my Polish grandma. The food was so good I forgot to make pictures. We got a lot of alcohol so our bill was quite high because of it

I recently had the pleasure of organizing a first communion celebration at Platzki, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. This charming restaurant not only offered a warm and inviting atmosphere, but it also impressed us with its delicious food and exceptional service. We'll done Anna and staff...

Let me begin by praising the culinary delights that awaited us at Platzki. The menu featured a range of delectable options, perfectly blending traditional Polish cuisine with modern twists. Each dish we had was bursting with flavor and prepared with utmost care. From the moment the Rosòł was served to the final bite of dessert, the quality and taste of the food were consistently outstanding. It was evident that the chefs at Platzki take immense pride in their craft and pay meticulous attention to detail in every dish they create.

The variety of choices on the menu catered to a range of tastes and dietary preferences, ensuring that every guest could find something to savor. The main courses, whether it was the succulent roasted meats or the perfectly cooked Platzki, were equally impressive. And let's not forget about the delectable desserts that added a sweet touch to the celebration. Each mouthwatering bite left us wanting more.

However, it wasn't just the food that made our experience at Platzki exceptional; the service truly stood out. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and promptly seated. Throughout the event, the waitstaff remained attentive, ensuring that everyone had everything they needed. They effortlessly managed the flow of the event, ensuring that all the guests were well taken care of. Their professionalism and dedication to providing top-notch service truly impressed us.

The ambiance of Platzki added to the overall enjoyment of the celebration. The restaurant had a cozy and elegant feel, creating a perfect setting for a special occasion like a first communion. The attention to detail in the decor and the comfortable seating arrangements made the experience all the more memorable.

In summary, I cannot recommend Platzki enough for hosting events or simply dining out. The combination of mouthwatering food, exceptional service, and inviting ambiance made our first communion celebration truly unforgettable. Whether you're looking to indulge in Polish cuisine or celebrate a milestone event, Platzki is the place to go. I can confidently say that we will be returning to this restaurant for future special occasions and to relish in their culinary...

My partner and I had a very negative experience here. We went for Valentine's Day, and informed staff he has a nut allergy beforehand. Staff assured us there would be no cross-contamination, and encouraged us to attend. The food and atmosphere was great, but on the way home my partner had a delayed allergic reaction (throat closing, and struggling to swallow, vomiting). I contacted them to let them know of his reaction: ask for a refund, and more importantly to encourage them to review their cross-contamination policy, as this was not an airborne reaction, it was due to eating nuts. They gave us the refund immediately, but then the manager responded by saying 'my boyfriend should be less concerned about the restaurant than by me' because 'I knew they were serving nuts' and so should not have made the booking in the first place. I am really upset by the rude reaction, especially as I was trying to flag something which could potential be so much more serious (my partner could have gone into anaphylaxis and possibly died). The reaction was so unprofessional and ruined the whole experience. If you or anyone you know has a food sensitivity or allergy issue, I would really urge you to think twice about eating here. Not only was there cross-contamination as my partner had an allergic reaction, but they were so rude and unwilling to listen when I told them they clearly need to review their allergy safeguards. I'm honestly worried that someone could have a much more serious allergic reaction given their stubbornness and poor attitude when told this. Overall - the dangerous allergic reaction ruined our Valentine's day, and the rude comment from the owner / manager was deeply unprofessional and...
