Hello.

I wish to complain about the way I was spoken to in a patronising manner when I came to tour shop to have a coffee at 7.45 pm on 20th October

I wss questioned whether I would be sitting in or out. You had closed an area of the cafe off. I got my coffee with a very awkward assistant who insisted I don’t sit past the wheel barrow used to collect litter and was blocking the seating area off. The assistant was obviously serving someone who they knew before me and was bieng very chatty and helpful to them. They proceeded to go past the barrier and sit in the section that had been cordoned off. I suggest if staff are going to allow thier friends to sit in the closed section they make it slightly less obvious as this can be very grating All customers should be valued and...

Had a half an hour spare before getting on the train to Edinbugh from Manchester Picadilly, and the Maltbread sandwhiches at Pret are nice (and not a thing you get in The Netherlands). The earl grey is also good. So stopped here for breakfast. The girl in front of me was rude as heck. The lady behind the counter was a little of balance from that. She took my order friendly as can be though. I asked her if she was ok, we had a chat on how some people are just not nice at all. She comped me my cookie and made my day. I had a really disappointing experience at Pret in Manchester Picadilly. I stepped outside briefly to make a phone call and left my table with my hay-fever inhaler, tablets, coffee, and soup. When I came back, everything had been cleared away and thrown in the bin—including my essential medication. The staff who throw my stuffs was very nasty. I will never come back here. I understand staff need to keep the place tidy, but it hadn’t even been that long, and there was no check to see if I was coming back. This really affected my day, especially as I rely on that inhaler. I hope Pret can be more mindful in the future when clearing tables, especially when it’s clear that personal items are...
