Wing Hing Chinese Restaurant (Didsbury) — Restaurant in Manchester

very very disappointed! This restaurant was mine & my partners favourite Chinese in Manchester until we went for Valentine's 2015. The people have changed, the customer service was really poor, like they were going out of there way to just do there job with a face on them. when the bill came there was a service charge of £5. I wouldn't mention it usually but because the service was that bad I was reluctant to pay it. on the bill it displayed my dish to be £15.80 but the Mongolian lamb actually costs £10.40. I was told I got it wrong by the staff. instead of make a scene we paid with the intention of making this bad review and to never go there again. what a shame as it used...

The food is great but the SERVICE AT THE RESTAURANT is absolutely ABYSMAL! We usually get take out but this time decided to sit at the restaurant. It was no laughing matter! THE WAITRESS RUDENESS, LACK OF MANNERS AND DISDAINFUL ATTITUDE was incredible! We waited 40 min for our food and when we-politely asked if it'd take any longer, the waitress shouted at us blaming us because we had never told her the order in which we wanted the food to be served!? Our toddler spilled some rice on the floor and the waitress made us feel horrible about it and started sweeping all over us! We will NEVER AGAIN go to...

The food seems reasonable for the price. I enjoy the food and the jasmine tea is nice. They refill the pots at no extra cost. I have been over the years and it has changed a bit in style and quality of food. I think the staff are nice and considerate. They check if we want to wait between courses, or if we are "resting" etc. I never feel rushed on the busy nights and often they recommend on portion sizes.
