The coffee tasted like weak low quality instant coffee. The doughnut tasted oily and bad, like deep fried cod from a fish and chip shop not like a doughnut. A real disappointment as the KK café in Durham a few years ago had great coffee and a fabulous doughnut. It was frankly embarrassing to put my parents through this unexpectedly poor café experience. Unless there is sign of this café improving massively we'll avoid it and go to Costa or Nero instead. I recently visited Krispy Kreme in Milton Keynes and I was blown away by the quality of the doughnuts. From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly baked doughnuts greeted me and I knew I was in for a treat. The store was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered a dozen donuts and they replace one of them with a donut covered in nuts without checking for any allergies and they also forgot the box of donut bites however because I ordered it on uber eats they said it wasn’t there problem and I had to take it up with them despite that fact that it was not uber eats fault as the workers at krispy crème had packed the order incorrectly, I have not been refunded for the missing food or offered a replacement meaning I wasted almost £7 on food that an employee probably got to take home as it was...
