This outlet is expensive for what you get but it is better quality than most of the other cafe,s and it is only a café. The food is made on site well most of it, or cooked in some cases. There is a good selection and fresh. The pasteries are bland but do the job.. I had a hot chocolate on my last visit which was over priced and full of sugar. Which I never asked for, after I had finished in the bottom of the paper cup there must have been another teaspoon full of sugar...horrible. The breakfast roll which I bought was tasty however. One very annoying thing is that a member of staff whom cleans the tables and such, is a complete pain in the butt. She clears the tables and takes the cups trays and any packaging before you have finished eating or drinking..This is rude annoying and very unprofessional. A classic example of untrained people working in hospitality. One of the first codes of conduct in this field is... leave your customers alone when they are at their table. Clean when they are finished they don't want you interfering or removing their packaging, which is theirs, as they paid for it, until they leave the table. More training Pret a Manger you...

Review for Pret a Manger – Milton Keynes Shopping Centre
As a regular, everyday customer at Pret stores in Central London, I’ve come to expect a consistent level of quality and service. Unfortunately, my recent visit to the Milton Keynes shopping centre branch was disappointing.

When I raised this politely, mentioning that this wasn’t the standard I’m used to, the barista in charge at the time — Emma — offered to add hot water instead of replacing the drink. This not only diluted the coffee but completely ruined its taste. Despite this, no replacement was offered.
I found this response quite poor, especially given Pret’s usual focus on customer satisfaction. Is it standard Pret policy not to replace a coffee when it’s served below temperature?
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I’d like to see the same level of care and consistency across all branches — not just in...
Read moreI’ve been to this Pret store many times and had good experiences however recently the standards have become worse if not non-existent. Visited today and the server could barely speak English and was barely audible while she also yammered/mumbled away in what seemed like chitter chatter with her equally ignorant colleagues behind her. There was no sense of customer service or any sense of urgency. Things are usually up to standard when the blonde manager is around so I must have visited at a time when she was away. I will instead take my custom to other nearby coffee shops in the Milton Keynes shopping centre. The John Lewis cafes that are adjacent to this Pret store have a slightly better sense of customer service. Get your act...
