I had such a fantastic experience at Slim Chickens, and I have to give all the credit to Maria for making it so memorable. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with the kind of warmth and genuine friendliness that immediately puts you at ease. She didn’t just take my order—she made me feel like a valued guest, taking the time to answer questions and making great recommendations.

What really stood out was her attention to detail and her upbeat attitude. She checked on me multiple times without being overbearing, making sure everything was fresh, hot, and exactly how I wanted it. It’s rare these days to find someone who genuinely seems to enjoy making customers happy, but Maria clearly takes pride in what she does.

On top of her professionalism, her energy and smile lit up the whole place. Even though it was busy, she stayed calm, attentive, and made every customer feel important. That level of customer service doesn’t go unnoticed.

The food was great, but Maria honestly made the whole experience outstanding. People like her are the reason customers keep coming back. Slim Chickens is lucky to have her on their team, and I’ll definitely be returning—not just for the food, but for the top-notch service she provided.

Surprised at all the five star reviews, I wonder if they are fake/bought? Can’t believe so many people are mentioning this mythical Maria in one sentence reviews and not much about the food, haven’t seen reviews like that en masse before.

There was no table service or customer service around the restaurant when I was there. My husband managed to spill an entire pot of sauce on his crotch and there was no Maria rushing over to paper towel it off, now that would be amazing service worth writing about!

Came here for the first time and disappointed about it being boring and overpriced. Nothing exciting or innovative on the menu, just fancy branding to justify the higher cost. Even the food photos in reviews look the same as any other fried chicken place.

Chicken tenders were slightly dry, not as crispy or flavourful as McDonald’s. Buffalo blue cheese loaded fries sounded great on paper but it didn’t have any taste of the cheese - sauce was overwhelming sour and too salty (this is coming from someone who likes a lot of salt).

Their blue cheese dip and buffalo ranch dip were indistinguishable, just more sour thin sauces that blended into one flavour. Gravy was too thick and almost congealed, not as good as KFC.

Won’t be returning again, will just go back to McDonald’s at the Xscape next time for...

So I visited this establishment after a short time on the slope and man was I impressed. The food took a little longer then I anticipated from a fast food restaurant but not by much. I don't know the exact time but I think it was around 15 mins. But when the burger came to the table it looks so good and the amount of cheese piled up on it was perfect. The chicken was steaming hot, it was obviously just cooked fresh. It has cooked to perfection, moist, tender and no gristle or fatty bits. Taste was spot on too. I added slims sauce which took the burger to a whole new level and lead me to a foodgasm. The fries that came with the burger were also cooked perfectly and seasoned by someone who actually knew what they was going.

I'm trying to watch my calorie intake but slims chicken gets almost all my cheat days.
