Wing Kingz — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Was forced to go to Wing Kingz after my first bad delivery experince due to needing a snack while waiting for an escape room. And boy was I disappointed. First of all, there were lots of empty tables and the waiter said wait a minute I’ll get you seated. We’re watching him for a good ten minutes running about the place doing other things while there’s lots of waiters standing idle.

Got 15 wings and I don't even feel the need to mention which flavours I got - why? Because after waiting half an hour for them arrived, they were served at room temperature! Wasn't enjoyable AT ALL! If we wern't short on time for the escape room, I wouldn't have accepted these and got a full refund.

Delivery Experience:

Ordered the smoky BBQ wings and the steak wrap. The wings I enjoyed, can’t go wrong really - though I didn’t like how all ten were flats. Regardless, they were grilled nicely and tasted good.

However boy oh boy, don’t get me started on the wrap. When chomping through it, I was playing a waiting game - wondering when I would get a bit of the steak. It didn’t come until I was more than half way through it. Very disappointed with this. How am I paying £13 to eat a wrap filled with predominantly vegetables?

The wings weren’t that great for me to visit again...

Went this weekend during a weekend trip to Milton Keynes. Safe to say won’t be visiting this place again.

Went with my wife and 2 young kids. Initially started off well, had a very warm welcome from manager at front, she was very friendly and accommodating. But went downhill from there. Understandably it was a busy Saturday night but every time we needed anything I had to literally get up off my chair and go find a waiter myself. It was too loud to call them and too busy for them to see us.

When the food came, the wings were not warm at all. Had to send back and to be fair they replaced quickly with extra wings as well which got them an extra star for service. The food presentation looked good however wings and all the food really lacked quality and flavour. We got 2 different wings and 2 different chicken burgers but hardly could taste chicken in there, thin fillets which tasted rubbery. Wasn’t a crispy chicken fillet as would be expected. Had better burgers at local chicken shops in London for much cheaper.

Kids ate for free and their meal was good for their liking. Atmosphere was good for a sports bar/restaurant showing a variety of sports.

My original review was responded to and is below, since that experience we have been back and told about some internal changes which I think was the best.

This time round we had a fantastic level of service, Leah who I'd been in communication with was very helpful and kind. And in the restaurant it's self we spoke with Josh and Samuel who both have great levels of customer service and made this a much better experience, they are all an asset to the company.

By choosing the joker wings they had so much more flavour and were delicious and my partner had the crown burger which he really enjoyed.

Hats off to the chefs too, for helping turn around this experience.

The service was very poor, staff didn't look like they really wanted to there was difficult to get their attention. At points it felt like they were looking away purposely as they just didn't want to talk or listen.
