Bubble Cha Haymarket — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

I do not normally take to doing a Google review, but I am making an exception because I feel this place is more than worth it. I would absolutely give six stars if possible.

I feel this review may be a little long, but it is appropriate. I have been going to this bubble tea shop since it opened and I have had a fantastic experience every. Single. Time. The staff are phenomenal, and the tea itself is, absolutely, the best bubble tea I’ve ever had. I usually get an original milk tea with less sugar and strawberry pobbles, and it is perfect every time.

To prove how good this tea is, I would share that a few years ago, I moved to London. The first time I got bubble tea there, I thought “oh, this isn’t as good as Bubble Cha’s,” but I thought maybe I was just homesick. Reader, every single bubble tea place I have tried while living there has not held a candle to the bubble tea here! Every time we come home, my partner and I visit as many times as possible.

The experience of going here is absolutely part of why we keep coming back too. The vibes inside the cafe are top notch, with the decorations and music being a 10/10. The variety of options for products are gold standard too, with every aspect of your drink being customisable just how you like it. Even the straws are cute!

You will not find better bubble tea in Newcastle and you would be hard pressed to find it anywhere...

Been coming here a while now. The staff are really friendly. The menu is extensive and they’re happy to explain each flavour. The shop is small and gets busy, so be prepared to wait during busy times. They’re the cheapest bubble tea shop in town. Considering every shop sells the same stuff these guys offer it a price that’s worth paying. The shop next door is an average 80p more for the same. Might not seem a lot but when you frequent roughly 3x a week it all adds up. Plus they DON’T charge extra if you have no ice where as most places do! Legends! Imagine paying 50p more because you genuinely have sensitive teeth but they think it’s because you get more if you ask for no ice (which logically you do) but these guys are cool with it. Keep up the good work, will continue you coming here for...

One of my favourite bubble tea places in the uk!! They never fail to disappoint. The tapioca pearls are cooked to perfection and taste nice. The boba itself is tasty with the perfect level of ice and sweetness(I’ve only tried the milk teas/coffee). I always look forward to get boba from here everytime I go to Eldon Square. The price isn’t expensive either. I must admit that the wait times are long but are worth it...
