In a nutshell, food was below standard, atmosphere was not pleasant, waiters were understaffed. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant was understaffed, they were not able to control their guests when they became rowdy and loud.

I was left unattended to at my table for 30 minutes, it took two nudges before they were able to come and take my order. Staff were apologetic afterwards and I could tell they were busy so this was not on them.

The food however was far from great. Everything was drowned in butter and fat. The starter I ordered was scallop served with prosciutto crisp, this combination really doesn't work because the delicate flavour of scallop was entirely masked by the (super salty!) prosciutto crisp. Also, the puree underneath was fridge cold which was unpleasant.

The king prawn with rice was a so-so, there were some good flavours in the rice, but again it was drowned in too much butter, the entire dish was swimming in butter. The garnish was a bit excessive, it looked more like garden overgrowth.

An honourable mention was the asparagus, it was nicely cooked with just the right texture, although one of them were stringy but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Too much butter though.

The guests were also very rowdy the night I went, and they were concerning...

Was expecting so much more based on these reviews. Nice look inside and menu options seemed great on paper - unfortunately my mussels had a funny taste to them and some ingredients were missing from my mum's food.

The pasta seemed to be overdone and the starters were ok but not anything amazing. I appreciate that everyone is just getting back to work and mistakes can be made but there was only 3 of us and there were no other customers at the time so I don't know how the staff could have forgotten the water we asked for and it took some prompts to be served. Waitress did apologise and was friendly.

I will compliment the pizza however, it was massive and delicious! Dessert menu looked good but I was too full to try. Overall I think the menu is reasonably priced and the restaurant has potential but the food and staff...

Never again.

Food is delicious but severely overpriced. £14.50 for a pasta dish with barely any prawns and salmon as advertised. None of the asparagus included as stated on the menu.

I’m certain the positive reviews detail a completely different restaurant because I will not be retuning again.

Split the bill with a friend only to be confronted minutes later by the manager themself, interrupting our conversation to ask how much we paid, implying we didn’t pay the full amount on the bill.

Maybe take a few minutes to actually check the total before coming at your customer so directly. Unbelievably appalling and rude.

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve experienced in years. I do appreciate the staff member who offered Parmesan on my pasta but other than that, will...

My friends took me here last night for a pre birthday celebration meal. None of us had eaten here before but reviews were good so we decided to go and glad to say we were not disappointed. Great food and drinks menu and a cozy atmosphere all counts for a great evening catching up over delicious food. My choice for starters was the patte, followed by my favourite main in an Italian (but something I rarely have as I'm trying to loose a few pounds), namely pasta carbonara which was simply nothing short of exquisite. Dessert was a delicious Italian gateaux which was a treat in itself. Great drink choices too. I enjoyed more than a few double pink gins. Service was flawless and management and staff very friendly. We will definitely make a return visit here

My husband picked this place and when reading the menu I wasn't sure if it was a real Italian or not but actually the food exceeded my expectations. I had the capesante (scallops) for starter and the seafood linguine for main. Above all the starter was AMAZING. Also my husband was really pleased with his choices. I'm Italian myself so I can tell there are some differences with the traditional Italian way of cooking certain traditional dishes but if anything the chef has taken a personal twist and modernised some of the old school recipes. I was really impressed. Also the waiter was a really nice friendly guy and he made 2 excellent proper espresso coffees (the real Italian way :-D). Absolutely recommended!
