Rose & Crown — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Had another great night in the rose and crown last night made all the better by the great bar maid Amy,truly an asset to your pub,there was an elderly gentleman in last night who got a bit too drunk,Amy went out of her way to look after him,along with a young lad who's name i didn't catch.Amy eventually had to get the police to escort this gentleman home as he was very vulnerable,it was lovely to see how kind and caring she was,so thank you Amy and hope to see you again soon. Lovely friendly wee pub. Staff are chatty and friendly. Good selection of beers, wines, spirits and shots. Prices are reasonable and it was busy enough but not mobbed, we would definitely return if in Newcastle again. Downsides, toilets are upstairs and the disabled toilet on ground was broken. Ladies toilets were ok perhaps a 3 out of 5. My husband said the men's toilets weren't great and dreaded using them lol but all in all we really enjoyed...

Absolute belter of a pub !!! We use it every year when we hit the toon for rugby leagues Magic Weekend . A very extensive selection of Beer , wine & spirits . Always something happening here , be it Karaoke . Dancing . Live sport events on their huge TV's . The bar staff are always very friendly and welcoming . You haven't been on the toon until you have visited this fine establishment . Go on , ya know it makes sense...
