Worst service experience I have ever encountered in my life so far. Daphne or Stephanie, unsure if I heard it correctly as she refuse to give her name. We waited for like an hour for our food, had to ff up the order twice. Food that was served to my husband was not the one he originally ordered, the guy who took the order just decided to changed it without informing us. We were kept hungry and disappointed. Had spoken to the Manager about it so as to avoid recurring in the future, but Instead of apologising, the Manager argue / blamed us of their mistake. I was appalled by her attitude and put me in complete disbelief. She even insisted that they only took15 minutes and not an hour for our order. Your common sense will tell you why on earth your staff would offer me a 25 percent off the bill if I was lying? The guy who took our order, was the same person who offered us a discount did not even get the trouble to explain the situation to the Manager. I don’t usually post reviews unless the experience or service was exceptionally good or exceptionally poor.  Like so many people, I’ve called into loads of different Eddie Rockets restaurants over the years and I’ve come to know the general format and good level of service they provide.

However, I’ve seen a major drop in service standards in the restaurant in The Quays in Newry. Without going into every single problem I experienced during my family meal, it’s safe to say, there’s a concerning set of issues between each of the teams, on the floor and in the kitchen.

Unfortunately, the food isn’t quite as good as it once was, which isn’t helped when the staff aren’t exactly as well trained either. My enduring memory, will be of me, standing at the till, paying for the food before leaving, when the server is on their way to my table, with the remainder of the order they forgot about and to top it off, I was asked, why are you so...

Over my last few visits the service has been terrible. Staff are clearly not trained and definitely do not want to be there. Today, when we asked for the ‘Daly Dish’ which was advertised at the door and on the table, the waitress told us she didn’t think the chef knew how to make it. My plain chicken fillet tasted like lemon, which it isn’t supposed to and the seasoning on the fries tasted disgusting. The bun on my burger tasted stale, or like it had been frozen and then defrosted 24 hours previous. Our food sat ready on the shelf in the kitchen for 5-10 minutes with staff just walking past as if it wasn’t there. Eventually a young man came out from the kitchen and brought it to us but just dumped everything on the table and walked off.
