Sam’s place never fails to impress. I’ve eaten at Sam’s a number of times and I’m always excited to try new dishes from his forever changing seasonal menu. As well as an extensive wine list, Sam's place also offers seasonal cocktails that complement the dishes and usually a nice liqueur at the end of the night :) These cocktails and liqueurs are crafted by Sam himself using a variety of herbs and ingredients. The camomile rum is a personal favourite 🥃

When someone is passionate about their work, it shows. Sam is likely to go the extra mile to ensure that every aspect of the dining experience, from the presentation of the food to the ambiance is perfectly executed.

Fine dining at its highest level! Cosy and intimate atmosphere with candle lit, Sam is the best host, he accomodated the tester menu to our pescatarians requirements and it was absolutely amazing food and wine, moslty carefully sourced locally and in Italy, with truly good price to quality ratio. A real gem in the centre of Norwich, our go to place for romantic nights now, and would recommend to anyone to enjoy a special dinner in town. Also shout out to Sam for creating such elaborated tester menu, and coming up with a new one every couple of weeks, really impressive work. Looking forward to coming...

This has to be the best food I’ve ever had out side Italy. It was like going on holiday. Flavours I haven’t had for years. All the food was was incredible especially the tortellini. We had the mixed platter to start and the quality of the cheese and meat was superb. We then had a couple of nibbles as starter and a couple of small plates for our main. Everything was so good. We ordered roasted red Onion as a wild card because I wanted to see what could be done to make an onion worth it and it turned out to be the best dish. Just don’t know how he did it.
