We visited Brew Tavern for the first time recently. I love their stall at Nottingham Craft Beer Festival and had been wanting to visit for some time. We weren't disappointed, the beer selection was fantastic, a couple of pales, some well kept cask beers, a rare Belgian Lambic on tap, and a couple of high ABV dark beers. So much choice, and nice to see a variety of beer styles catered for and not just lager, pale ales and IPAs. Service and atmosphere was excellent too, we chatted a little with the staff and other customers who were all super friendly and welcoming. They carry everything from classic bitters (including banked Bass when it's on, if you know, you know) to a dedicated keg line for smoothie sours and big imperial stouts. Service is always friendly, with the staff always happy to talk about their range, and the atmosphere is always chilled. A great place for a drink, whether your waiting for the train or otherwise. Read moreI meant to do this review three weeks ago, just catching up. First time at this micropub since it reopened as Brew Tavern and very enjoyable visit. I came for the flat ciders and they had 3 on draught as well as 2 bottled.
This is a brill micropub if you've missed your train, either accidentally or deliberately LOL.
