I recently visited Jpingo's Flame Grill Pizza Steakhouse Nottingham with high hopes of indulging in a delicious culinary experience. While the food at this establishment was undeniably tasty, I must express my disappointment with the cleanliness of the dishes, which significantly impacted my overall satisfaction.
Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the restaurantās charming ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. The menu unfolded a wide variety of enticing dishes, and I eagerly placed my order, eagerly anticipating a memorable dining experience.
When the food arrived, it was apparent that the chefs had taken great care in crafting each dish. The flavors were rich, well-seasoned, and genuinely delectable. The taste was undoubtedly the highlight of my meal, and I commend the culinary team for their exceptional efforts in creating such palatable offerings.
However, the enjoyment I derived from the food was overshadowed by the state of the dishes. Sadly, they were not up to the standard I had expected. I noticed visible stains and remnants of previous meals on several plates and utensils. This lack of cleanliness detracted from my ability to fully appreciate the food and left me feeling disappointed and concerned about the overall hygiene practices in the kitchen . I must stress that while the food itself was delicious, the lack of cleanliness greatly impacted my dining experience. I believe that addressing this issue promptly would greatly benefit the overall reputation of the restaurant and ensure a more satisfactory experience for future patrons.
I sincerely hope that the management takes my feedback into consideration and takes appropriate measures to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing calzones and pizza to die for! Burger my son ordered and loved it! Complimentary pizza and sauces with it were really mouth watering. The staff was amazing and very listening. The place was already full when we entered. Good that we had reserved the table in advance.
The serving boards though looked very appealing but were space taking so we struggled a bit with kids to adjust our food on the table as we ended up ordering too much. Some food definitely has room for improvement like
Lamb curry, roti and peri peri chicken. Roti was super duper thin and got too crispy to eat within minutes. Lamb if you are used to buying and eating fresh lamb, then this one did not taste like lamb. It rather tasted like some sheep due to some distinct unpleasant smell. So I would suggest go for chicken curry instead. We eat a lot of lamb in our family so we can tell the difference straightaway. Something at least wasn't right with the taste.
Peri peri chicken needs massive improvement as it had pinks inside and was not tender especially if you have tried this from other reputed places then you can unfortunately easily compare and tell this one needs more steaming and more time on the grill definitely.
The water jug infused with slices if lime was so refreshing.
Overall our experience was good. I would definitely go there again for calzones, pizza and chicken curry. Prices were good. They give you 2 rotis and spicy rice with the curry so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad a fantastic meal here and would absolutely recommend it! We ordered a range of starters to share ā the garlic bread was huge and couldāve easily been a meal in itself. The wings were full of flavour and came as three large pieces, and the halloumi (four generous slices) was very nice, though I personally prefer it a little crispier. The cod goujons looked great too, though I didnāt try them myself.
For the main, I had the fillet steak ā perfectly cooked, sizeable, and packed with flavour. It came with chunky steak-cut chips which were crisp and delicious. The food came out quickly, which was a pleasant surprise given how fresh and well-prepared everything was.
The staff were polite and attentive throughout, and our waitress was especially lovely ā friendly, helpful, and really added to the experience.
The venue has a rustic charm, though there are a few areas that could use a touch of attention ā boxes of paperwork stacked in a corner, some paintwork in need of freshening up, a slightly cramped toilet, and a front door that slammed a little when people came and went. That said, these are minor details in what was otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
I donāt drink, so the dry bar was a welcome feature. They offer 0% alcohol options, which is great if you're after a more inclusive dining environment.
All in all, excellent food, quick service, and lovely staff ā a hidden gem well worth the visit. Highly...
