If you didn't already know, Mollis is known for their ULTIMATE fried chicken on derby road next to Alchemillarestaurant.

Saltbox have teamed up with Mollis for a 3 month kitchen take over in Bolero Square next to the entrance of Nottingham Arena Its available every Friday and Saturday evening from May to July.

We chose a couple of chicken burgers. One with Nashville hot oil fried chicken miso ranch, beer pickle, lollo rosso, furikake. The other,Classic southern fried chicken kewpie mayo, pickles, lettuce, cheese sauce. A side of Fries,house seasoning topped with parmesan. Pink fir potato, truffle curd, crispy onions and a roasted garlic mayo sauce. They also serve some amazing chicken wings, either 6 or 12 in two delicous coatings. If you've not managed to make it out of the city to try them before. Theres no excuse now, as you can pop in when you go to a nearby event or you just want some really good chicken in the town. the PERFECT sport bar!!! beautiful amount of TVs plus 2 projectors so you cannot miss the game! the food is really good, it is a limited menu but for a bite before a game/ show it's brilliant and just what you want. we had the pizzas and they were soooo good! the staff are amazing too, tall lady with blue hair (think she's the manager) - absolutely fantastic. helped us with every query and she was very professional. she seems to be running every time we go- someone give her a break!! also liked the ginger staff member who calls all the men sir, she was funny! really great place to spend time at, genuinely lovely atmosphere. see you guys again soon! there is a massive hole in the roof that we noticed and didnt like to stand under but i'm sure it'll be fixed soon and...

We had to evacuate Vic centre last Saturday 20th November and Saltbox allowed our company to come down and sit in there bar,allowing us to keep warm and comfortable until we were allowed back. They gave us free coffee and tea and even cooked up some portions chips for us as many of us had not had any food all day due to being evacuated.I felt they made us feel welcome and more than looked after us while we were there.Big thanks to the staff.Aside from that it also looks like a very nice bar to have food and a drink in before you go...
