Just lovely. Dark and individual interior (who has the cactus fetish?) with laid back but efficient service. Small but quality selection of ales on keg, and prices very reasonable for the city centre. The secluded beer garden a la concrete is as much as you're going to get in the city centre and there's more than one indie album cover to be produced with that scenery.

Great crowd, great beer, reasonable prices and highly individual atmosphere. This is a great city centre boozer than resists the cookie-cutter and embraces a gentle acknowledgement that anything goes. Visit, enjoy,...

What a fantastic pub. Popped in here one Saturday night once restrictions had lifted slightly. The staff/Landlady were fantastic, couldn't do enough for you. They had quite a busy night when we went in but we never really had to wait long for drinks. Thought the staff did a great job whilst having to deal with Covid guidelines etc. Would definitely go again. My only problem was we only went in for one or two and ended up staying a very long time ;) Next time please kick us out, might save my headache...

I am very surprised you have any customer on a Saturday as your DJ is a very obnoxious person. He is rude when being spoken to and we were not requesting any music to be played even though we think requests are normally provided by DJs as surely that is the job they should be doing. He should not be working and customers would be better listening to a CD. If he can't even be approached should be out of sight...

Top pub in central Nottingham. Has three levels. Top and friendly staff. There is a cute beer garden at the back which is ace. Seating throughout. At weekends they do dj vinyl nights which we came too. Local.and non local got on really well and it was amazing fun. Nice rolls behind the bar. This well worth checking out for a traditional pub with some nice touches

The Dragon is my go to pub in Nottingham. It’s just a boozer, with no food, apart from a few cobs, which I like. Usually someone spinning some vinyl records they’ve brought in to play on their decks. The patio area on a sunny day is the perfect place for a pint and a chat with old friends and you often meet some eclectic characters who are always interesting.

Lovely city centre pub with a large scaletrix set up. You can hire this room out. Unfortunately on my visit the barman didn’t have a key for the room as I did ask if I could have a look! Barman was very friendly though. Four ales on along with the usual selection. Lovely upstairs outside seating area which really makes it in my opinion. Recommended 🍻🏎️
