I got boba bloom today, and I admit it was at 9pm, but I ordered a dirty milk tea with strawberry popping pearls because the tapioca wasnât available (thatâs fine though that wasnât the problem) but not only did it take over 8 minutes to make my drink, but when I was drinking my milk tea, the milk was curdled, like heated and curdled in the drink as well as the âdirty milk teaâ having dry bits of cocoa powder which I didnât even know came with dirty teas, as I thought it was only the brown syrup, but overall it was not what I paid for, as I had high hopes with this boba and it failed to amaze me. We asled to see the reciept and found she added 3 quid to making our drinks large and theres not much more drink. Theres no ice even though we asked for it. She didnt tell us this before paying. There was no brown sugar in the brown sugar milk it tasted like old English tea. You might aswell have left your mug of tea go cold and chuck a few balls in it .the fruit tea just tasted like pure sugar. Absolute sadness. Worse boba...
Read moreWe had a very nice Rose Milk Tea with oat milk and tapioca pearls. It was very refreshing and well balanced, so nice that we ordered a second drink, the Caramel Pudding Milk Tea. It was sweet without being too much, just right. The menu offers Thai Milk Tea and Matcha too, two of my favourite flavours that are hard to find in most other stalls. I like that the owner takes pride in having a good balance between Asian and Western preferences. I noticed they had interesting hot beverages too which Iâm sure to try next time....
