Whody Arundel Street — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Ordered Via UberEats based on the delivery time being quick, but when it came to the latest quoted time our food still did not arrived. Phoned them and they said it was on its way but unable to track as they use their own driver, but said it would be within the next few minutes. I explained we order based on quoted time as we needed to be out that evening so could not hang around, they assured me it would be within 15 mins. Nope, 15 passed, 20 came and still not arrived (now 40 mins in total late passed the max time quoted) so phoned again and had to cancel. They said we would need to contact Uber so we did, but when Uber tried to verify by phone the delay they did not answer. So thankfully uber went ahead after showing we did make calls to them and our CCTV could verify what we said, so they did refund us (Uber).

5 mins later the food arrived and we said sorry it was to late and we had pot noddles now as they were so late, after another 5 mins they phoned and said we could have the meal for free, but i heard this before from other places on late food orders and then they show we taken the food (Being all cold) and then Uber will not refund then so said no sorry will not accept.

No point putting time frames on orders if they are unable to keep to them, lost a new customer now, will...

Terrible service. Ordered 2 waffles for delivery, an hour later when they were still not delivered, called to have a response saying they had left and they were on the way. 20 minutes later, called again were we found they had not even been made yet and would take another 20 to arrive. No apology was given, the fact that they lied and said they had left after checking our postcode was appalling. If the first phone call had resulted in an apology and confirmation that they would be arriving soon it would have left a much better taste in the mouth! Unfortunately we are left with no waffles and a rather grumpy Sunday lunch outcome, from a rude and lying company, with 2 hours in total of waiting for nothing to arrive. They have shown no interest in retaining our custom. Will no longer be using and encourage you not to either if you intend on having an easy treat! Terrible...

The food was much better when they were at the old place, the burgers are so thin now, even the packaging they’ve changed and food doesn’t stay hot, they always miss delivery notes, and send me the wrong food. They are very rude, when one of their own delivery drivers couldn’t find my house the driver blamed me to the manager that I didn’t answer my door when infact HE COULDN'T FIND MY HOUSE! Then the manager excused me of lying and said his driver is right and I’m wrong, absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. They refused to re-deliver and refused to refund me. The managers tone of voice was so horrible, I was one of their regular customers from day one but after that incident happened I no longer order food from there. They are not...
