Very authentic little Malaysian cafe. We were a party of 12 people and the proprietor accommodated us at short notice on a Saturday night. I managed to take a picture of our first curry mee dish and after talking the first mouthful, forgot to take the rest of the many dishes we ordered - because it was sumptuous! We tried hainan chicken rice, hokkien mee, beef satay noodle soup, char keow teow (fried flat noodles, which we had several plates here - excellent!), and jawa mee. Most went down very well, with the exception of the last one, which was not what we expected in terms of what we know. Overall, a pleasant dinner and definitely return for another visit.

A fine small restaurant with authentic Malaysian cuisine with vast choice on the menu. The staffs are pleasant and the service was fast and good. My Hokkien fried noodle tasted just ok but had some hard meat particles that definitely needed softening! Curry Mee was also just ok but could’ve been more spicy. Wokhei was just right and tasted fine. I was not thrilled by Mocha drink - served in small paper glass with slightly tough ‘bubbles’! Overall it was a bit over the top for three small dishes and one drink - £32! Hummmmm maybe lucky next time?

Best Malaysian food I’ve had in the whole UK. Went in with no expectations but every single dish amazed us because it was so authentic and tasted better than 95% of what you’ll find in Malaysia/Singapore. It was so good we had to go back a second time in less than 24 hours. Dishes we ordered include Penang Char Kway Teow, Curry Mee, Bak Kut Teh, Braised Pig Trotter Rice, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Hokkien Mee, Nasi Goreng, Nasi Lemak, Wanton Mee, and all of them did not disappoint. Am contemplating moving to Portsmouth just for this 😂😂

I come here occasionally after Uni lectures with my girlfriend and I must say, I absolutely LOVE it.

--====-- The service is very homely, with us having become accustomed to the front-of-house staff and feeling more like friends than a business which helps us get very comfortable. They are very nice and assertive with delectable dishes when you aren't sure what to have! The wait time is also very short, which is incredible considering how nice the product is!

--====-- The food is always delicious, tender meats, flavourful rice and noodles and more! My girlfriend loves the iced coffee there as well, so definitely worth trying if you like coffee! Spice-wise, they seem very adaptable if you let them know of your personal preferences, whether its on the milder or spicier side which is very helpful as I have always loved spicy food!

--====-- The pricing is very cheap relative to what i'm used to getting for similar items and quantities.

--====-- Despite some inconsistencies they have at times, i have rarely (if ever) encountered a problem that could make me rate them any lower - they're just that good in every aspect! So for filling, delicious yet affordable meals, Park 27 Cafe is the...

Reasonable prices and portions. Had the mapo tofu rice set and that was tasty, nice combination of "ma"and "la" factors, though maybe a bit too salty. Tried the fish head soup noodles and the broth was delicious aswell. Hainanese chicken rice was good but the curry laksa was a let down. Did not taste like curry laksa and lacked flavour of coconut milk. It tastes like maggi mi curry flavoured instant noodles which can be bought for about 40 pence so that was not worth the price. Lots of local Malaysians come here and enjoy the dishes so I'm sure it is promising. Busy and does indeed lack a sense of social distancing however. Lowered marks considering we paid and waited about 10 minutes for the change and never got it so left in a bit of...

Went there multiple times pre-corona virus and ordered a delivery through them(purchased when they reopened for delivery in June - man I missed the food there!).

They are a small family business and you can tell they cook with a lot of passion. Not only are the meals in large portions, the staff are super friendly and nice! As a regular, they always treated me well (previously including a hot drink with my meal)!

Unfortunately, I have moved away from Portsmouth and I 100% miss the times/food at Park 27.

I wish them all the best, I hope they keep cooking the best food on the end of commercial road! Cheers for the great company and delicious food! Highly...
