RIO by Algarve's International Deli & Cafe — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime, reasonably quiet but lovely atmosphere. There are a few tables outside and a ramp up to the front door. We had the Frango Frito and a Ballpark classic Hot dog and some fries, all delicious. If you are looking for a cheaper snack I recommend the morning rolls which come with either Cumberland sausage or smoky Back Bacon and are £2.50. Lovely coffee, good selection of pastries. Reasonable prices - £3 for a latte, £4 for a coffee and a bap, or £3 for an espresso & pastel de nata. The staff were really friendly.

For the cafe section, there's probably only about 8 tables, to seat 2 each, so maybe not the best for larger groups. However, there's also a good amount of outside seating for sunnier days.

Fantastic cafe and deli (lots of lovely products, wines, beers, tinned fish, and freezer section packed with meats, fish, sardines, clams etc) in Southsea, Portsmouth. Sagres (Portuguese) beer on tap. Delicious coffee and pastries, croissants, custard tarts (Pasteis De Nata) etc. All very reasonable priced, very tasty oat milk latte coffees. Traditional Portuguese pork roll – Pork Bifuna. If you have been to a cafe in Portugal… then this place will take you back there!...
