Unfortunately my sister inlaw, my nephew and I did not have a good experience. The table was cleaned but still had marks. I took a serviette from the table behind my sister inlaw to reclean the table, but I really did not mind that much. Then there were no cutlery on our table, neither was any brought to us, so once again we got some by reaching to the table behind my sister inlaw. They offered my nephew some paper and crayons which was a nice touch. The waitress was ok and took our order. Our drink came on time so did our meal. The club sandwich looked nice, presentation not bad. However our olives were left out. They were brought when I asked and we were not charged for it. Thank you. The sandwich was not good. The chicken was tasteless, the coleslaw too creamy mixed with lots of cheese. We tried our best to finish it because we did not want to waste food but could not. It was not worth the 43 pounds we paid for our meal which also incudes my nephews pizza and ice-cream. It left a very big feeling of dissatisfaction. We told the waitress we had not enjoyed it, her response was 'ah'. and continued to clear the table. When we left, we were watched as we walked out, but no one spoke to us or thanked us for coming. This is a big disappointment. Lovely location and decoration but service a big let down. We will not be returning Unfortunately.

We visited for the first time today and had such a positive experience. Big thank you to the lovely lady who served us; she was so kind and helpful. Our youngest is autistic and really quite picky with food. She was really kind when he started to wobble about what the sauce was on the kids linguine. She said the kitchen could be flexible and, sure enough, they accommodated his requirements perfectly with no fuss or drama. The food when it arrived was beautiful. We all had really different things (burger, pizza, seafood and kids linguine). All were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! Honestly couldn’t fault the food or service. Then, obviously, there’s the incredible location. When we arrived the tide was in and it felt almost like we were sat on a tiny island in the sea, with the waves splashing against the side. Everyone loved watching the hovercrafts zooming across, plus all the other sea craft. We’re already planning our return trip. Thanks again for a really great evening!

This is an easy 5 🌟restaurant for its convenient location, its outdoor large seating area overlooking the sea, friendly staff and simple menu yet very tasty food. We sat outside and my thoughts quickly recalled the before Covid Mediterranean beach holiday memories, only to be woken out of my dream by the reality of the British weather, cold and rain in June 😢so, the manager told us we had to sit inside because he didn’t want the staff getting wet as they delivered our food 😶that’s why I rated it as a 4 😢 Now let’s get back to the food 😜the fish batter was fluffy and light and it didn’t leave you feeling heavy, one of us didn’t want the tasty and also very fluffy ships so the chef replaced them with deliciously baked rosemary new potatoes. Thank you 🙌. The whole experience was nice and cosy and the decor was orignal and to the point. It’s a must visit restaurant 💯💯💯

Me and my girlfriend chose this place to get our breakfast, and definitely our last time. Slow and mediocre service, the girl in the bar is grumpy while taking our orders. Very disappointed with the Food. It wasn’t great at all, overly priced for what you paid You need to pay extra for eggs in any of their dishes. Come on you already charging 12 to 14£ for a breakfast (a piece of smoked salmon, luckily wasn’t a wild salmon; otherwise will be charged 50£) so how dare to charge extra 2.5£ for an egg or another 2.50£ if you want an avocado slice (felt like dealing with Ryanair when you pay for any extra separately). I got astounded to see my plate coming without even a slice of bread. A big Thanks only to the guy who was by the door (the manager) and the only one who welcomed us. Have a look everyone at my dish and if it’s really worth to pay almost 14£ for it.

I was very impressed with this place, very nice tasty food and dessert, as I was the only person in there as it was blowing a gale outside, but very much would recommend this place

We visited the Beach Club Bar and Restaurant for lunch on a Monday during our recent visit to Portsmouth. It was a great spot to stop for a feed and a couple of drinks. We sat outside, on the glass-walled balcony overlooking the bay towards the Isle of Wight. We were warned against sea spray but didn't experience any as it was quite a calm day. The service was quite good, with plenty of staff on for the number of customers. We really enjoyed our meals. They were quite generous in size and well-prepared. Drinks were delivered quickly. Overall a good spot for lunch, in a good location for a day along the coast.
