First time I've tried this place! Shocker considering I'm a born and bred Prestonian! Definitely worth the visit as the pies are excellent. I went for a butter pie and got one of the cake bakes which I think was called a "Sticky Vicky"? Which was a muffin bake very similar to a Victorian sponge but way better, very jammy and moist. Small place on Fishergate Hill but this guy can bake 👍😎

Whenever we are back in Preston we make a special trip, they are great value and use top quality ingredients. The butter pie is obviously also excellent, make sure to get there early for the full hot selection as they do sell out 🥧

If you’re changing 🚂 at Preston Station and have 20 minutes spare, there’s simply no better place to get some scran than nipping down to Paul’s. I tried the Jerk Chicken Patty warm which was delicious followed by a ginormous Black Pudding Sausage Roll with English Mustard Sauce that lasted the rest of the day. Theses savouries cannot be beat.

If you’re changing 🚂 at Preston Station and have 20 minutes spare, there’s simply no better place to get some scran than nipping down to Paul’s. Popped in today after being recommended several times from a regular customer. Greeted by Paul in a ultra friendly manner. Caught site of a huge sausage roll as to which, I have never liked sausage rolls. Ever. This one how ever was a sausage, black pudding and mustard sausage roll. I keep edging back to the pies bit I took both in the end. No cheese an onion pies left but had cold ones on the fridge. Took one for the wife. I kept looking at this huge sausage roll and decided to take one. Oh my god. Amazing. The ratios are perfect. The mustard isn't over powering. I absolutely love em. Having the pies for me tea tonight. I defo be back for another sausage roll. That's my favourite now. I highly recommend this pie shop. I haven't tried alot in fact my first visit but certainly not my last. I will re review to 5 star when I have tried some more of the menu. Definatly a very...

Walked past this place on my way back home the other day and the smell was absolutely heavenly. I unfortunately hadn’t any money on me at the time and i live quite far away so didn’t have time to go home and come back.

Naturally i couldnt stop talking to my partner about how good it smelt and a week later i finally got him to nip in after reading the reviews.

The food is freaking delicious!! We tried the beef/gravy pie & the sausage roll with caramelised onions which were both stunning. The sausage roll was massive!

10/10. Defo will be back,...

Amazing pies some superb cakes all made on site and taste great . Just down from the train station so not far from city centre its worth more than just one visit . Paul the owner a sound personable fella is more than happy to help and have a laugh and joke whilst u wait . Always busy because it really is that good so may be a cue sometimes but you will not be dissapointed . Trust me pay this place a visit you will not be...
