Really disappointed with the food here tonight. There were 4 of us that dined here before going to see a show. My mum had ordered the dumplings for starters in which she was informed that it would be a 15 minute wait as they were steam cooked which was fine, so me and my 2 sisters had ordered starters also. It took a good while for them to come maybe 25/30 minutes at least so when they did come my mum’s starter still hadn’t come and we had all finished our own starters, so as we were going to the show and didn’t want to be late, we had asked the waitress just to scrap them and just to go with the mains instead. The manager had then came over and apologised for the wait on the dumplings starter and had offered us coffees on the house but again we were rushing so declined this as we wouldn’t have had time. After waiting for the mains to come, they came along with the dumplings. I had asked for the vegetarian Pad Namprigpao which was in a fish soup which I am infant allergic to fish however it doesn’t state that on the menu. After being unable to eat my meal and have no check back on how the food was, we then asked for the bill and my sister had asked for her leftovers to be boxed up to takeaway. Once the waitress came over with the bill I had asked if she could take the dish off the bill as I informed her of my allergen and she said there was a vegetarian section on the back of the menu disregarding the fact there was no mention of the fish in the dish regardless if it were vegetarian or not. Once we paid for the bill, we seen that the dish hadn’t been took off so informed the manager about this, we were now late for the show as it was the wrong thing that was took off the bill and he was trying to fix it but then just ended up giving us cash back. My sister never got her meal as they took too long to box it up so we had to leave because we were already late for the show and didn’t want to be even more late. I definitely won’t be back and wouldn’t...
Read moreAbsolutely adore this place! Haven't been in, but been ordering for a few weeks now via Uber, and the food is outstanding. Chicken satay is lovely, freshly made with good quality chicken (not the rubber stuff u get in other places lol) , peanut sauce is real nice too, only gripe is I'd rather have some onions and Peppers with it, rather than the lettuce, carrot, and cabbage it comes with. The Thai Cashew Chicken is so tasty, I get it with the sticky rice, which I love. Not many Thai places for delivery in the Glasgow area, so I'm over the moon to find this place. If it wasn't for the exceptionally high delivery charge of £4.50, I'd order even more than I do now. 10 min drive from town to Rutherglen, doesn't merit a £4.50 charge, especially when Uber also charge a service charge. For a starter and a main for one it's costing over £30 for delivery. I think you'd find you would maybe be a bit busier if you put that charge down, just a suggestion. But other than that this place is great, can't wait to pop in for a meal...
Read moreLooking for a nearby restaurant to our hotel in Bath/West Campbell St. Love Thai food; found Thairiffic rated pretty well and only 5 minutes walk away. We gave it a try and have to agree it is very good indeed. Staff greeted happily, table was ready, staff also attentive AND the food is superb and well presented. Can recommend the Massaman Curry - not too heavy and overly chunky as you sometimes get; Tom Kha soup for my wife was excellent also. Sticky Rice and Deep-fried Icecream also delicious completed the meal well. Staff also thoroughly clean the tables. Very difficult to fault anything really. May well be under-rated overall at 4.5; would rate 4.8 - 4.9 personally. Try it and see for yourself....
