Coffee @ 124 — Restaurant in Scotland

Today, I went to 124 at 1:15pm with my mother-in-law and four children before seeing her off at the bus station. Checking to see if there was space for six, the manager welcomed me and said: “If you want this table, it is reserved for 1:45pm.” I said: “We’ll be done by 1:40pm.”

I had just arrived on the bus from out of town for a first date. I was a little early so popped in here, and realised to my horror I had forgotten my wallet whilst waiting to order coffee in this lovely place. I was freaking out trying to set up google pay on my phone and the absolutely wonderful man serving told me to sit down and chill, and he would bring me my coffee, and if I couldn't figure out how to make it work it was on him. This was the first place that caught my eye when visiting Dundee - I love a good cafe, so we went to visit Coffee @ 124 before departing on our journey. Really beautiful interior, plenty of seating. We went about half 3 and it was pleasantly quiet.

Staff were lovely, our order arrived quickly and their hot chocolate with cream was delicious!

I personally recommend the scone with jam and butter.
