Visited Panini’s after a recommendation from a friend. It was very busy when I arrived which is a good sign, I ordered a Mac and cheese with chips with a can of Diet Coke and the lady that took my order was really friendly. I then went to the till to pay for my food and again the cashier was friendly. My food was £9.40 which I thought was quite expensive, normally for a Mac and cheese with chips you’d pay around £6 at most and then the cost of the can on top. I was told I had to wait as they were waiting on a batch of mac n cheese which is fair enough, however the batch came and I wasn’t given my order, but my friend who ordered the same thing as me after I ordered, got her order before me which didn’t make sense. I was then told I had to wait for another batch of mac n cheese so in total I waited around 15 mins. As a pregnant woman it wasn’t ideal to stand around for this length of time. I will mention that the lady apologised for the wait which I appreciated. The Mac n cheese was standard, I probably wouldn’t order it again. I would have expected a larger portion size for the cost. There are plenty of other deli style sandwich places across Glasgow, that are similarly priced or cheaper, but you get significantly more and better quality food.

I would absolutely never go back. The sandwich shop 'Piece' down the road offers significantly more sandwich for cheaper, in fact everything on their sandwich menu is cheaper than my toasted ham and...
Read moreCome across this place on TikTok. It has been the recent hype. However, filters do wonders.
If you like soggy steak pie at a whopping £8 or whatever price they make up then this is the place for you. If you like dry macaroni at any price they make up, this is also the place for you and just when you think they couldn’t get a panini wrong, they give you a dry salt and chilli chicken panini that was solid.
If you have got anything to say about their food, they block you or disable their accounts.
They only want good reviews, not honest or constructive ones and what’s the point in that?
Won’t be back for...
