We had abysmal service Monday. The vegan Currywurst was horrible and I was sick when I got home. My child left her bag with a treasured diary in it and I went back the next day and the guy working swore it wasn’t there. I spent an entire an entire looking for it. We splashed out on food and tipping but I’m honestly horrified and have never had such bad service anywhere in Glasgow or almost anywhere else before. Shocking. Please keep my daughters bag safe. We should have gotten comped meals but then no one even checked on us or bothered to refill my daughters constantly empty glass. I had to bus my own table as well. Like for real guys- ?!

Lastly no one even tried to make og up to us in any way or make our experience more pleasant- with rising costs- this was a special mother and daughter dinner date that was ruined. I love your selection of beers- many of which remind me of back home in Germany but the service is and I’m tolerant having worked in service for many years- horrible and just careless.

Finally, I called and came by to pick up my child’s school bag that she had left at this establishment and was told it was not there. Finally, I called again and indeed, it was as there. One of their staff members hassled me and suggested they would “pass” the bag “on.” These people are shameless and I have never even bothered to leave a negative review anywhere but always praise when I have great service but this place takes the cake for the rudest, most inept staff ever! I can get my German beer fixes elsewhere and definitely would not recommend this place for food or service. Want a bad...

If you're in Glasgow and fancy some proper German cuisine and beer, this is the place for you!

A great many beers to select from including Weisbeers, pilsners and ales. Includes favourites such as Paulaner, Lowenbrau and Warsteiner plus many less well knowns. Served in small taster menu selections, 1/2s, pints and of course a good old Stein!! All are served in a friendly welcoming atmosphere by happy and polite staff and at very reasonable prices.

And the food! Wow! I opted for the Bavarian Broth followed by currywurst and my goodness they delivered. The broth was terrific with good select cuts of beef with pasta, onions and a gorgeous brew. The currywurst, well; the next time I get off at Glasgow Central I'll be heading here for more before checking in, wherever I am! The wurst (2!) were top drawer and took me back to German markets and restaurants, served in a delightful creamy and tasteful curry sauce. Excellent skin-on fries accompanied some delicious sauerkraut and red cabbage. No need for a dessert! All that and my 3 beers for c£30. Bargain.

If I had a 'development' point for them, please get some good Senf in for the tables. Mayo is ok but American mustard and HP have no place next to the delicious bratties!

Don't walk by this place, if only for the beer and atmosphere, you will not be disappointed and you will be back. Cannot recommend enough. Well done (and...

Incredible Pub - one of the best I’ve visited and fantastic staff. I’ve been to Munich. I’ve enjoyed the halls and I have to say I was incredibly impressed with this beer Halle, and especially with the staff and service. Pork Knuckle and Schoffenhoffer beer on offer - it’s brilliant. The amount of beers on tap is impressive - all the main Munich ones and I was partial to the Spaten then and now. But I was stunned that Chloe Mary overheard my desire for a badly described beer and suddenly it was in front of me!!! That’s incredible service and the evening didn’t stop with such pleasantness, and two subsequent acts of brilliance were kindly noted while I have rarely seen the level of Duty of Care that I also saw. The Brauhaus Brass were playing and they were stunningly good, modern and well known favs were played and I cheered when the cantina band music was played! A lovely evening and on reflection the best pub experience I have had in Glasgow and that’s before we describe the ceiling art, the wooden warm furnishings and just how authentic the venue sets it’s self out to be. Great beer. Most all....
