First and last as time there. It was very busy when 4 of us went in for a coffee we were given paper cups (no issue there) 3 of the party were sitting whilst I queued. Sitting drinking our coffee, which was pretty good, when our server very rudely said 'We'll let you off this time, but the price for sit is more than takeaway '. Now, at no time was I asked if we were sit in or takeaway (3/4 of our part were at a table in plain view of the counter) nor were there any prices displayed to let me know what price I should be paying. Had they come over and said sorry didn't know you were sitting in and the wrong price was charged I would have happily paid the difference. Another wee thing to note is the food is left uncovered and was being talked and coughed over. So sorry,...

Ive just had one of the most confusing cafe trips of my life. As soon as we arrived, with a pram, another door had to be opened, for some reason this involved a 5ft 3 staff member, on a stepladder with a Butter knife. We ordered banana bread and some bacon bagels (apparently they had no rolls.) I know the banana bread is fresh and, given how long it took to arrive, I can only assume they started baking it the moment we asked for it. As for the rest of it, the bacon was so raw, I wouldn't be surprised if the pig's family were still in mourning, it was paired with a bagel so raw and untoasted, it may well have been used as a blunt weapon to finish off the pig. I visited today and found the organisation and service to be poor. I was eating in but had to wait in a long queue with all the people buying food to take away. The menus seemed to be hand written and not the easiest to read. I also couldn't see all the food options available to me as there were so many people crowded round the counter waiting on their takeaway food. Also, they served someone else that was sitting in before me even though I had arrived ten minutes earlier. It was not a nice experience at all and I ended up just ordering a coffee and no food and instead went to Greggs...
