Google showed Pasha Glasgow as a popular Turkish restaurant located in the city center. While the food is delicious, the service was extremely slow, which kind of frustrated us diners. During my recent visit, I found myself waiting for almost an hour before I even got some food on the table, despite the restaurant not being just moderately busy at the time. While I appreciate that good food takes time to prepare, the slow service was a bit excessive, and it affected the overall dining experience. Additionally, it seemed like there were not enough servers to handle the number of tables, which added to the delay. I do appreciate the staff's efforts to be friendly and accommodating despite the slow service. However, I would caution diners to be prepared for a potentially lengthy wait if they plan to visit Pasha Glasgow (especially during iftar time). Edit : I didn't know it was peak iftar time and the restaurant was busy with takeaway orders as well as serving iftar customers. Had they said that we would have to wait 40 mins, we would have gone to another restaurant. I understand the service was slow because of this. I do appreciate getting 3 bowls of the broth with the lamb shank upon request. I'd have paid for it even if it wasn't given for free as it was good and I wanted to share it with my guests. However!!! The judgemental tone of whoever has responded to my feedback has made me change the overall rating. I don't think I'd visit this place again although the food was brilliant. The

Unfortunately, not what it used to be. Pasha offered an excellent choice of middle Eastern food. It's tasty freshly cooked and flavoursome. HOWEVER, it's not the same as it used to be I've dined in and ordered take away a number of times. I've always enjoyed the jumbo grill, it's meaty heaven! The problem I've found is that it's never the same amount as the time before. The amount is always different. The portions have got smaller at naan has got thinner As mentioned above, I've ordered take away numerous times and the food is always ready to be picked up the time stated over the phone. The place is starting to look a little tried. It could do with a lick of paint and some attention to detail. I'd love to see Pasha expand and offer a more traditional authentic dining in experience. Maybe rugs and lower/floor seating? A few months back I was going to go back in go back to eat in and take away. However, I can't recommend it anymore. I have found the staff to be friendly and professional. The owner is usually around and I usually exchange pleasantries with him. Attached are pictures of two jumbo grills and the difference in size is obvious. The picture with the can next to it is from June 30th 2022. The other picture is from April 2020.

I was a regular at this restaurant but I do not think I will return. I was very disappointed today with the service I received. The manager is normally quite friendly but he was not there today and instead left his staff in charge. I visited with my partner as we were celebrating the end of Ramadan. First we were given a table and then 5 minutes later were asked to move to another table as the waiter said the table was for larger groups. Which was fine and so we moved, but to a dirty table which had not been cleaned properly. The salt pot was covered in sauce and dirty fingerprints. Were is the covid prevention and food hygiene standards in this? We then placed our order which was only 2 mains and waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive. When we asked how long our food would be the waiter said it had to be cooked on a special grill which is what was causing the delay. All we ordered was a chicken shaslik grill which includes one skewer of chicken, and a calzone pizza. Customers arriving after us had bigger orders and mixed grills, but were served first and had there full meal and left, whilst we were still waiting for our food. After waiting for 45 minutes our food finally arrived, I was expecting a nice meal but instead was given a calzone which was extremely dry and hard to swallow. Maybe that is what the special grill does to your food. I have had better calzones within 20 minutes. When I told the waiter the calzone was not right her response was that something must of went wrong in the kitchen. Why serve food if something went wrong? Also the table we were told to move from then seated 2 people who were served before us and had ordered a...
