June 2025 Busy Friday so service was slow but you can't complain cos these guys work their socks off....food was ok. I had the chicken pasta which was fine but not brilliant....portion was huge...too much for me. Ice cream and slice with coffee for dessert.

May 2025 Popped in for coffee and a treat....great choice of sweet treats and scones. Service outstanding as usual

March 2025 Lunch on the busiest Friday of the month...have to say the staff were amazing....running around greeting, serving and clearing with a smile on their faces.

Atmosphere was a bit manic during the busiest period but it was full so to be expected.

Menu choice is great with plenty of veggie options. And great idea to have 3 different size pizzas.

I had a chicken and bacon salad which was great but the dish was too small which meant it was difficult to cut things up.

Coffees and desserts great too but would have liked sauce and wafers on the ice cream sundae.

Very reasonable prices overall but the wines looked expensive £10.20 for a 250ml glass....and limited choice of wines by the glass.

Be going...

We arrived at Scribbles without a reservation during peak hours on a Saturday night. The restaurant was very busy, and the staff could very easily have told us that sorry, they were too busy and didn't have any tables available. Instead, they went the extra mile, looking at what tables they could rearrange to ensure they could still honour their reservations whilst finding a seat for us! They managed this and we were seated.

The service we received following this continued to be excellent - despite the restaurant being full to capacity, our order was taken quickly and the food arrived in good time. We each had a pizza, both of which were delicious.

At the end of the meal, our plates were removed in good time and we were not left waiting for ages to pay the bill before we could leave (a pet peeve of mine!). Overall, the service was the best I remember ever receiving in a restaurant. I would not hesitate to come back here if I were visiting...

Ok so the service cancelled be a bit slow. I put this down to them being young though and wanting to chat, you know what it's like when once upon a time you actually liked people. So I'm letting them off with that. They are all super friendly, they definitely have the right approach when it comes to disabilities. Helping with the ramp to get in and making sure the seating is ok. The disabled toilet situation does let them down a little bit, only because it's really hard to get in and out of. Now the food. WOW the food is amazing. We have been a few times now and can never fault the food , sticky chicken is amazeballs and definitely worth it. Today I tried the chicken kebab and got to say was definitely worth it. Loved the chips too. Choice of food and...

Lovely restaurant. I would recommend booking for lunch as it does get very busy some days although I have never had to wait too long for a table. Tables are nicely spaced out which makes a nice change. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Service good. Great selection of cakes and pastries which you can take away. Very clean and comfortable. Some very good value dishes such as the pizza platter. Definitely worth a visit.

Went in for lunch. Quieter than normal which was good, separated with perspex glass, although wasn't snug to the table but still provided safety. The lunch menu was quite reduced options to what I remember previously and no lunch portion lasagne offered so I asked for a smaller portion as its quite big! It was delicious, plenty of sauce and cheese but not much mince in it at all! Friendly and quick enough service.
