The one star is even too much, where to start well we ordered brussetta to start it was just chopped tomatoes put on shop bought garlic bread no onion basil salt pepper or olive oil not even balsamic to garnish the bread my husband had the chicken skewers woth sweet chilli dip, the dip was so cold it was unreal the chicken skewers were more like bought in chicken fingers with a stick poked in them. The main I had risotto pollo, what a joke that was far too salty, risotto rice very very over cooked it looked like the juice from tinned tomatoes used for the sauce no taste other than salt and not how a risotto should be. My husband had the tagliatelle came out wrapped in tin foil had even less taste than my so called risotto and less than 5 minutes of it being out of the foil it was cold pasta very over cooked again. This is not what you expect fr a SMALL business and not one that says its authentic itialian food would never ever recommend this place to anyone, as a chef I like to support local small businesses we needed up going to somewhere else to eat and I got an amazing risotto!!!

After the reply from the person below, can I just say as a CHEF for well over 20 years and being married to a chef I am fully aware of what food is over salted and what isn't. I have worked very small family run itialian places and I have been taught the correct way to make risotto, also yes I am as offered another meal but after the starter and then the over cooked, over salted risotto why woukd I take another option. Especially after seeing my husbands main course come out in tin foil, having been microwaved. I also have friends that are itialian and took lessons from them how to cook itialian food,i also am fully aware of how to store sauces and as a sweet chilli sauce doesn't need to be kept in a fridge there is no reason it should be as cold as it was. But then again after seeing the reply you give to others that say anything bad I am not surprised you have an attitude problem in regards complaint to my comments about the sub standard food you claim to be itialian when in fact even people in prison will be...

We recently dined at Pizzaria Toscana, and we had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Calzone, and my wife had the Pollo Pepe. Both dishes were delicious and exceeded our expectations.

The Calzone was perfectly baked with a nice crispy crust and a generous, tasty filling. My wife's Pollo Pepe was a standout too, with tender chicken and a flavorful, peppery sauce that added just the right amount of spice.

The service was another highlight. Despite being a small restaurant, the staff were quick and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed without any long waits. The cozy interior added to the charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

One thing to note is that only house wines are available by the glass, while other wines are available by the bottle. We didn't try the house wine, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer wine with your meal.

On top of the great food and service, the prices were quite reasonable, making it an excellent value for money. If you're in Elgin and looking for a great Italian meal, Pizzaria Toscana is definitely...

TL:DR - Served a vegetarian a meat pizza. Cannot recommend.

Ordered quattro stagioni, served a spagnola (chorizo and chicken). Not even sure how those two can be confused. Cannot recommend this place for a pizza if the basics can't be followed.

As it was, the quality of the "meat" was so poor it was not noticed until a slice was almost eaten. It was sent back and a Margherita pizza ordered because we couldn't trust them to get it right.

It meant that we both dined separately.

This is very, very bad if someone is allergic to meat (which one of us is, hence ordering vegetarian pizzas).

When it came to the bill, the pizza that was incorrect was not comped. We argued for this to be removed. If you're going to serve a vegetarian meat, the least you should do is apologise by way of waiving that mistake on the bill. It's embarrassing as a diner to have to bring mistakes to the attention as it is.

Service was decent, toilets average. Thankfully we won't be back in the area again and wouldn't return if we were.

Oh, and good luck if you're a...

LOOKS TIRED, TASTES GREAT! Visited here last night, 2nd evening of eating out in Elgin. No booking but accommodated without issue & the place was packed! After sitting down I was apprehensive, took a fair while to be served but the two young servers were rushed off their feet in all fairness. I went for the Bruschetta, this was lovely, toasted well, not soggy & a good mix of flavour without being to garlic lead. For main I had the Penne Mexicana, this was wonderful creamy yet spicy, plenty mushroom & chicken & again full of flavour. I am only saying 4 stars as the place is very tired & in severe need of TLC, dirty ceiling tiles etc, not unclean, just old & tired. Leaving on a positive note the food was authentic & flavoursome & defo give it a try!

I can honestly say that we found this place by complete coincidence. We we here on a wee break and were just wandering around the town when we stumbled upon this wonderful little place. We had a wee drink in the pub just down from it then entered this place and went back in time....The place is very dated and definitely in need of a revamp BUT....Don't let that put you off.My dad and I possibly had 2 of the BEST PIZZAS we have had in a VERY LONG TIME.They were sublime,amazing,awesome....need I go on.Although Mac&cheese DOES NOT BELONG ON A PIZZA.Service was wonderful. Please give this place a try.Its also great value for money. You won't be dissapoined.

Food: 8.8/10 absolutely DELICIOUS! I’d come back to eat everything else on the menu, the food is so homey Service: 10/10 the waitresses were amazingly accommodating and checked up on the six of us frequently. All of them were super nice too & packed my leftovers for me Atmosphere: 7/10 really cozy vibes with warm lighting, but a bit on the smaller side. Definitely better with a group less than 6 people, like a cute couple date
