Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this pub at all. Let's begin with the service: Jordan especially, absolutely amazing. Made me and my mates feel at home. Top top fella and the rest of the bar staff are lovely as well. The chef has been there for decades and his food is amazing. Drink selection is of high calibre and reasonably priced for a city center pub. So easy to get from this pub back to the bus station for a way home - so it's easily accessible. The atmosphere is how you make it, they have a jukebox and you can search for literally any artist you like. £1 gets your 3 songs. The toilets are clean and of very decent standard and to be honest the whole place is upbeat and modern. A brilliant pub. A hidden gem. A place that me and my mates call our local despite us living miles away. Anytime we are in Glasgow for a drink, this is our go to. I don't drink anymore as I am teetotal and the non-alcoholic selection is just as good as the alcoholic selections. Highly recommend anyone to go and give it a try for themselves.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would for the service alone. Jordan is a lovely lad especially. Not just a bartender, a dear...

Went there at Before 5.30 tonight and got served with a tall guy with glasses and his hair in a bun. Explained that I only had a card and he said it's usually £10 and over but he would forget the charge. Anyway took me down to the bottom to pay and typed in the amount and took my card. I said how much and he said £8.60 but charged me £9.70?? Anyway biggest bug bare he left without giving me my card and receipt back from machine.he pushed the card machine further back and I eventually realised. Said to the guy excuse me you never gave me my card and receipt back but apparently it was my mistake as he was busy. I'm sorry thankgod I only had 3 wines all day or my card would have been used for something else. I was ready to pay contact less but he took my card off me. Not giving me my card back was my fault and he wasn't going to tell me an amount either. Guy is at it, customer service and blaming people isn't on. He is behind the bar and is in charge until transaction goes through. Would be one star but can't...

An old-fashioned quiet pub, decorated with photos of well-known Scottish Variety theatre artists, dating from Harry Lauder up to the present day. It's a couple of minutes walk from Buchanan street bus station so I went for a quick drink while waiting for my hourly express bus service. I quite liked the old-fashioned atmosphere. See the 2 attached photos of the interior. I didn't eat but the menu seemed reasonably priced, I can't comment about quality. Two pints cost a tenner. It's about 5 minutes walk to Queen street train station at George square, and around 10 minutes walk to Central station 600 metres away. Note that it's cash-only sales, otherwise I'd have rated 3 stars.

The Atholl arms has always been wonderful bar warm and friendly I have been drinking and eating in it off and on over the years never long enough to call myself a regular With the new floor to ceiling picture windows it feels almost twice the size It has great dining atmosphere with warm and friendly staff ways to help and serve Sadly I have note tasted the food since the refurbishment but when I do I be will be sure let you know my opinion has it was absolutely excellent before the refurbishment I've given it five stars the highest awards maybe I should visit more often

I've been coming here for years on and off always has been a fantastic pub but now I have to get refurbishment and it's later than to you you thanks to the new full sized picture windows it feels how much warmer place The photos I posted were taken early on a Monday but judging by the number of Staff they were expecting a very busy lunch personally I have not had to chance to try the new menu yet but as soon as I do I will let you know if it's still as good as it used to be
