Right, I know what you're thinking "this guy is taking the pi**" but in actually not. Jolibee will be the best fried chicken you will ever taste. Why? because its severed with with that Filipino love. This chicken that they served is tender, beautifully seasoned, and large in portion. The food is just amazing, exquisite, and delicious. If I were to rate the fries (I am a fry connoisseur), I would probably put these fries on a A tier (with McDonalds being in a C tier for reference, and TGI Fridays fries being an S tier as well as the Tiger Lee salt chilli chips). The fries are crisp, really nice on the taste, although they may be a little dry. This can easily be combated with a sauce of your choosing.
My personal favourite sauce is the buttermilk ranch. It pairs nicely with the chicken tenders, and the fries. Let's talk about all the factors that make Jolibee great, and far more superior than its competitors.
Customer Care - Jolibee take good care in ensuring that your order is correct. I have ordered more than 25x from Jolibee, and only once have they got my order incorrect (due to high demand). I quickly told them about my order being incorrect in which they gave me a fresh chicken sandwich that was the correct order in return. There was one sitting there for awhile, but instead of giving me that, they gave me the newly hot one which I thought was very nice.
Service - Unlike other restaurants, you dont have to wait an entire marathon to get your food. The service is quick and brilliant. The quickness of the food doesn't not reflect on the foods quality too which I found amazing. This really shows how much Jollibee has spent perfecting their craft, as their competitors who have had much more time within the same market are performing to a fraction of whay Jolibee is performing at.
Food - The food is beyond amazing. I cannot stop complimenting Jolibees amazing food and sharing the word to my family. The chicken is seasoned very well, extremely well. The chicken strips are juicy, delicious, and if you pair them with a sauce of your choosing you'll be blown away. The strips themselves are amazing, but paired with one of their freshly made sauces? You're in for a treat. Their ice cream is also incredible, as well as their normal chicken burger (the chicken burger is unreal and tastes so good). Overall, the value is amazing for what you get. The chicken comes in big portions so you won't be left feeling hungry (unlike their competitors KFC).
Employees - All the employees at Jolibee are very friendly, and house a very nice atmosphere. They all look as if they enjoy their job. This is why the food comes out so good everytime, because the workers there value their position, and try the best for the customer.
Overall thoughts - If you want fried chicken, if you like it at all, go to Jolibee while you're in the town. Its a choice you won't regret. Over the many times they've served me, they haven't failed once in pleasing my taste buds with their exquisite yet inexpensive food. The value for their product is there. I really appreciate this chain for making the best chicken I have ever tasted. I love fried chicken, and I love fries, and they deliver for my passion on such a food.

I finally went to Jollibee with my friends, after seeing all the hype and the long queues outside the place we decided it might be worth a visit just to check why everyone is going there.
It was the most disappointing (restaurant) experience I've had so far.
The food is very very expensive, we ordered a chickenjoy meal, a wrap meal and a spaghetti meal with 2 large drinks and 1 regular one with 2 dipping sauces. The chicken wrap was kind of small but it was very tasty... And that's where all good things stop. The spaghetti was served in a bowl which barely was 1/5 full, there was more air than food in that bowl and it even felt kind of offensive. The chicken that came with the spaghetti was awful, it was like rubber, badly overcooked, but it also felt like one of those chicken pieces that end up at the bottom of the container, and stay there all day untilnthey finally get served.
The chicken meal was also bad, the side of rice was oodly packed in paper, all 3 pieces of chicken felt like they were the leftover pieces of the day... Which is weird because it was 2 hours after their opening time so what's going on there? Maybe they were leftover pieces from the day before? Who knows, but they might as well be. The drinks that we ordered were all the same size, no large ones even tho we had ordered 3 large drinks, and they weren't even filled properly.
And the dipping sauces... Not even 1/5 of the container filled. So we had very rubbery and dry chicken but no sauce to help us eat it.
Sadly the issues don't stop there. The on-screen ordering process is very messy. There's a full list of menu categories but when you select some of them nothing shows up, my guess is that the items were out of stock or not being served at the moment but they should have something that tells you that. When selecting an item you couldn't even see what it came with, you just had to see the image of the item and figure what it included (thankfully the items are rather simple) and when we tried to check the items in our cart by tapping the cart icon it just went straight to checkout with no warnings ir anything whatsoever. They really need to work on their UX.
One of the biggest issues was when we went to the toilet before leaving the restaurant. It is downstairs and the staircase that leads to them REEKS of rotten food that's been left there for a long while. It was the most disgusting thing ever. Would you go eat to a restaurant where there is a very strong rotting smell coming out of parts of it? I wouldn't have gone if I knew that before.
Chickenjoy? More like chickendepression
Sorry for the lengthy review, but Jollibee was quite bad I leave you with pictures of the sad spaghetti, the mostly empty chili sauce, and my friend being very disappointed when he...
Read moreI visited your Sauchiehall street branch yesterday 14/08/2023 with my sister and her children.
The food was brilliant, everyone enjoyed what they had ordered, my loaded fries and spicy two pieces were 👌🏽 And everyone should try the gravy! Absolutely Lovely!
BUT.. and it’s a big but. There was a real issue with one of your workers (I’m presuming it was the manager as she was wearing black and white and stayed at the front checking the screen and orders)
She had a super angry look to her face, almost intimidating for me as a customer but can’t imagine how her colleagues felt. I witnessed her showing aggression towards the staff at the back preparing the food, she was even slamming the trays of orders that were ready to collect, like literally slamming them on the counter infront of all the customers who were waiting, my niece and I just looked at each other and even she and my sister could not believe this manager’s attitude.
I have never came across such aggression on someone’s face and actions. I couldn’t hear what she was saying to the other staff but from her facial expressions and hand movements it was not nice. Absolutely no one deserves to be treated like that in a workplace. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the staff in the back when she got annoyed with them. I wish I said something to her but she probably would have started on me!
The young boy who served me was so lovely and kind, I actually felt so sorry for him that he had to work with her at the front! There was such an atmosphere because of her.
She had no name tag, my sister and I both tried to look.
Someone at head office HAS to have a sit down meeting with urgently because this is going to affect your business and staff turn over.
The food was absolutely lovely! And it’s a complete shame there was an atmosphere in your store all because of one staff member, your staff do not look happy and I can tell you right now this is all because of that girl at the front. What I seen yesterday was shocking behaviour, and like I said, she is not good for...
