A lifetime of negative experiences from this agency. From ignoring transferable skills, laughing at me for trying to get a job after graduation despite a very successful first career, to trying to tell me I was worth a school leaver's wage for a job that paid far more after another couple of decades of experience, they have never failed to be a glittering example of a terrible agency.

Agencies in general are not there to help candidates, they are there to serve the bill payer, however Reed gets a special prize for having the same staff member doing all of the above for the last two or three decades.

I am sure if you fit whatever their mysterious criteria for actually getting put forward for a career role is you will be fine but if you don't just forget any job offered through them. I uploaded my CV onto CV library and within a week I was contacted by Iain from Reed Agency. He asked if I would like them to represent me by assisting me in the process of finding a job. Iain had said he already had a job in mind. He told me about the company and a little about what the job would entail. I agreed and said I would love for him to send them my CV.

After only a couple of days Iain phoned again saying they would like to see me for an interview. He spoke me through what the interview would be like and a couple of questions that they would likely ask.
