I would not recommend nor return to this bar for two reasons.
A group of friends and I spent 5-6 hours in the bar from 1pm onwards, spending hundreds on drinks and food. We rolled the blinds down to let some sunlight in; shortly after a member of staff rolled them back up, to which we asked for them to be kept down and were refused. Within 5 minutes our group were told to leave immediately on the basis of insulting a member of staff. This categorically did not happen - we were respectful at all times. The security member treated us far worse than we were reported to have spoken to the staff member.
The second reason for not returning is the rotten beer and cider on tap. Not a single pint tasted as it should - I doubt the taps had been cleaned in months. Certainly not worth...
   Read moreDisappointed. Me and my partner have been here plenty of times and weâve had good fun but the shuffleboard was in a bit of a state. It was missing half the end so the pucks kept going off the end.
There wasnât enough sand so the pucks were inconsistent from where they stopped.
I mentioned to the staff and it didnât really sound like they cared. Which is fair enough, probably arenât paid enough to care.
Wonât be back for a while.

Bright, airy, clean, spacious. Amazing tables and quality cues. Decent music in the background (indie/rock).
Think itâs half price Thursday evenings which is when we visited so that made it really affordable and at the time of our visit a Tennents was also only ÂŁ2.50 which in the city centre is a bargain.
If you want to play pool to a reasonable level in a nice venue...
