I strolled in here in the mood for whatever fried rice they had on the menu. I went for the "new dragon special" rice. Which was described to me as; "mixed meat, with prawns, rice and egg". None of this being on the menu. Never to be daunted by mere rice your brave narrator decisively, and handsomely, ordered without a quiver of his lip. When it arrived I can only successfully describe it as being pretty bad to look at. The rice felt like it had come out of a packet from Iceland. The chicken and pork, instead of being shredded or chopped like every other place I have ever experienced, were basically entire slabs of fairly plastic tasteless meat. They seem to have been thrown on top of the rice instead of being cooked together which is odd for the entire idea of fried rice being it gets cooked together. Then ontop of the fairly awful hunks of meat they had placed an omelette. Not much you can do wrong with an omelette so that would probably have been fine. Except the next layer was to basically throw about 3 mugs of gravy over the top of the lot. Would you ever pour gravy on an omelette? The entire thing was smothered by that one flavour and then you had the horrid consistency of the meat to deal with. I am sure I maybe caught the guy on an off night but that was so awful that I felt compelled to...

Sizzling beef and black bean - beef wasn’t even cooked properly completely still pale and wasn’t worth touching. Sizzling Chicken satay - sauce was exactly what you’d expect if you watered down satay sauce. Noodles were atleast flavourful and soft same goes for the rice. The price for this was £59. It...
