Fanoush Falafel Salad Bar — Restaurant in Sheffield

Last Saturday we were travelling back from a mini break and we're all starving. I was quick to recommend fanoush on london road. I go to the one in town for lunch and never had an issue. Off I went with a big list.

I walked in at 5.20pm (we checked and it didnt close til 6pm). I walked in and was greeted (wrong word) by a young lad who appeared to be chatting to a friend. I went to order and was quickly interrupted... 'I'm closing'...I was very confused and checked my watch. I said 'sorry but I thought you were open til 6pm' he replied

'No one has been in for ages so I'm closing'. His friend laughed and they both smirked at each other. I was tired hungry and willing to pay quite a bit. I questioned him and said surely if you are advertised to a certain time and have your door open and are just standing at the counter you cnt just chose when to close. He didn't seem bothered and just laughed and told me to talk to his manager if I cared so much.

I have worked in cafes and bars before but have never refused to serve someone because I was bored. I could understand if it was 5 to 6 and if it looked like everything was packed away...but it did not.

I love going to fanoush and am really annoyed at this experience. I have told friends about this and it's safe to say they have now lost a big lunch order. This young lad was so disrespectful and rude I cnt bring myself to go back. TRAIN YOUR STAFF IN...

The food was fine and on time, having ordered using Deliveroo. The shock horror in customer service and lack of taking responsibility lies in the Driver having knocked over the side pillar directly in front of my House, upon delivering and leaving with his Car and then just went off. It also happens to be that the dubious Driver has turned out to be the alleged Manager of the London Road Fanoush. He refused to repay for the damage, despite evidently committing the offence which was captured on CCTV (the entire pillar has come apart crumbling to the ground,) even after the police have got involved and regardless of having clear and incriminating evidence. This review is merely a warning to other customers against the management of this particular Fanoush and what a horrendous and cowardice person he is, which now people will be aware of if ever in a trivial or like in my case a more serious and specific situation against someone who wouldn’t and still isn’t taking responsibility for...

I ordered from Ubereats for the first time, it was very good! I love the wraps, the falafels and the salad were fresh, tasty and the portion was generous. Tried the aubergine wrap, cauliflower wrap, feta wrap and halloumi wrap, all of them were amazing! The customer service was nice too, I ordered a box of salad and the sauce was so salty for some reason, the wraps were absolutely fine just the salad box, I gave the feedback via Ubereats, didn’t really expect anything was just really giving a feedback, but it turned out to be that they gave me £3 to reorder next time, I didn’t expect it but it was a very considerate service! Will order again and have recommended it to...
