Sunny day perfect chill out place in Sheffield ☀️🍺🥟
Last week I went to Sheffield to meet @sheff_tomo and he was so kind to show me around Kelham Island. Kelham Island has undergone a significant transformation in recent years and quietly become one of the most exciting parts of the city. @saltsheffield is one of the latest chill out place there.
@saltsheffield 📍 Green Ln, Sheffield S3 8SE
The location was previously trading under the brand of Stew & Oyster. Now it is newly rebranded SALT in Sheffield and brings together a award-winning craft ale paired with delicious bao buns @baomesters
@saltsheffield offers a range of SALT beers, real ales, artisan gin, wine & cocktails on a VERY reasonable price.
WHAT I GOT @saltbeerfactory 🍺Jute Session IPA @baomesters 🐔Karaage Bao 🥟Crispy Pork Gyoza 🍟Loaded V-Cut Fries
SALT Jute Session IPA was light and refreshing with a taste of citrus. It perfectly matched with the Crispy Pork Gyoza which topped with homemade ra-yu chilli and mayo. The gyozas were flavourful and the filling was well balanced with pork and cabbage. Love it😍😍😍
The Loaded V-Cut Fries were defo the most evil food I ever had. The fries were topped with Japanese curry sauce, mozzarella, sausages and coriander. Each bite was full of flavour. Once you started eating it, you can’t stop it😈😈😈
If the snacks couldn’t fill up your empty stomach, you must go for the Karaage Bao came with pickles coriander and sriracha mayo. The Karaage chicken was well seasoned and the Bao was so soft. Highly recommend to all hungry foodies ❤️❤️❤️
There are over hundred seats @saltsheffield and you can enjoy the sunlight in the outdoor beer garden. Such a good place to chill out in sunny day😎😎😎
@saltbeerfactory has bars in various location including Leeds and London. I wish every location can serve these amazing snacks and everyone can enjoy good...
Read moreI’ve been here before previously and really enjoyed it. Booked it for my birthday in November for 6 people, but when I arrived my booking had been cancelled. If there is any confusion with a booking you should contact the customer to confirm, not just cross it out. The staff member seemed indifferent, barely apologised and I was told I’d just have to wait until a table for 6 became available. People make mistakes but it’s how you rectify those mistakes that matters! As a business it was you in the wrong, not me. I expected a few free drinks to compensate while we were waiting an infinite amount of time for a table I had already booked... instead we paid for drinks while we were waiting - which we wouldn’t have done if we were already seated, as we then ordered more drinks with our meal. So more money for you. 3 free brownies for pudding to share between 6, thanks but I was annoyed throughout the whole meal! I hate to leave a bad review but I’ve never had such a disappointing experience at a restaurant before. I felt so let down by my visit because of the poor...
Read moreArrived a bit late to a table booking. 9.05pm to find the entrance door locked. (Our table was booked from 8:45 to 9.45). A tall blonde guy said they stop serving at 9.30 so we couldn't come in ?! He said our table booking had been cancelled despite no warning of this on the booking email. There were loads of tables free and I didn't see what the issue was given there was still over 20 minutes left to order a drink. He was quite rude and not someone you'd want front of house in a hospitality business. Eventually after I made the point several times about only needing 2 minutes to order a drink he let us in. Never had issues like this anywhere else. Just a warning to anyone else wanting a drink here arriving slightly late to their booked table. If it hadn't been raining we'd have just gone to one of the many other welcoming bars in the area. Some basic customer care training might be on the cards for the gentleman in question. All the other staff are normally...
