Subway — Restaurant in Sheffield

Use to really love subway for a quick bite. Came in few days ago and had the worst experience ever, I worked as a chef before and I am not sure how these guys pass food standards, not even basic hygiene. The girl on the till was touching her face picking nose and touching food after without cleaning her hands or anything?The counter was full of mixed food (cross contamination everywhere) and it was like 3 people eatting in the shop(really quite)? I wouldn't say that is something wrong with food but basic hygiene practice would be great as people usually lose apetite after such a views! Using same gloves to take juicy meat and later putting hands in salad serving vegetarian person? maybe get some tongs or scoops and train the staff to use sanitiser? Very dirty guys not sure how you are alloud to run shop...

Not happy with customer service. Staff is rude. Always look like in a some sort of rush though two customers waiting to be served. Not listening properly, just rushing up through order. I asked for chicken breast and turkey rashers. Instead she gave chicken breast slices in another container and charged me £3 extra. When I asked she said that’s what you pointed at. Never filling right amount of chicken in scoop and very little vegetables on sub. When mention the issue to her. She was saying need to pay extra money. When I asked can i speak to manger/supervisor I charge today. She said no one is available here. No busy time is this service. Very disappointed with...

Disappointed! ...is the one word I would use to sum up this particular subway store. Rude staff, couldn’t care less about you or your food, lied by saying the toilets were out of use but then came back 15 minutes later with a key to unlock them. Was also instructed, to sit on one of two tables, as the others weren’t cleaned...but why not? I can see why this place isn’t busy. I think next time I will have to carry on walking another 5 minutes to a McDonald’s, which is a shame as subway is my favourite place to eat something quick.
