Dolphin Fish Bar — Restaurant in Stratford-on-Avon

I have been a regular customer here. Recently I placed an order - I asked them to omit something they usually put, and put something else in instead. They agreed on the phone, but then changed their mind, and sent me the item. The driver didn't tell me about it, and they did not ring to tell me either. Furthermore, they made another mistake in the order.

When I called up, the staff member of the establishment was extremely unhelpful. Furthermore, despite sending me the wrong order, the owner refused to give me a refund. This is is actually illegal, and breaches the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.

This is a small place, it's a small problem and I have better ways to spend my time than chasing them up for £10.50. I even considered tipping the driver, as they got the order here very quickly. However, my instinct told me something was wrong.

I will never go here again. If this is how they treat regular customers, there is no goodwill...

The food used to be really good, but lately the quality has dropped further and further each time we have ordered. The latest order was just poor all round. Had ordered food to be told 40-50mins, which is fine as we were told. Had it delivered around 25 mins so thought brilliant. When opening up we were missing just 2 curry sauces from the order, called up and said, to which they said that they will get it to us ASAP, so of course waited as it’s only like 5 min drive away. Food was cold when it had arrived though so thought it would warm it up so no issues... 20 mins later still not turned up as said they’re waiting for a driver. Turns up 10 mins later after that but by this time we didn’t want food anymore. Just a sorry and left... Really disappointed and won’t be ordering again now. Used to use them loads but this was...

Such a waste of money as we chucked most of ours away. The egg was burnt in the bacon and egg sandwich, the chicken burger had way to much garlic sauce, so much so that you couldn't even taste the onions in it. The Chips we ordered tasted like fried fish and I would even bet the chicken in the mixed and normal kebab was used up breaded chicken as well as being rock hard.. All of it was horrible apart from the drinks and we waited an hour for that. Definitely won't be...
