Kyuri Sushi — Restaurant in Stroud

The best Sushi I've ever had, in the Uk..the best food stall and street food, and fine sushi experience and a pleasure to watch being prepared on a street food venue.. My fiancee lives in Stroud and me in North Devon, and this is well with the trip up, every weekend! Every thing is fresh and varied and prepared with a really high level of detail and really is delicious. Sushi and Japanese cuisine plus Korean dishes... all are exceptional. The chef is a in a class of his own and bryony and daughter are so lovely, and explain the food if your unsure. I could go on and on, but if your even just passing, check out this absolute little gem of a place Highly recommended . Well done

Simply the best Japanese and Korean food in and around Stroud hands down. I come from East Asia, have lived in Japan and travelled to Korea often, the fantastic dishes from sushi to hot Korean and Japanese meals here are not only authentic but delicious too. I highly recommend the salmon box and the bulgogi, just perfection.

Su and Alex are such great chefs, and are always so friendly and passionate. It's pure joy to sit at the bar, watch them prepare the food fresh in front of you whilst chatting about life, feels just like back home and is worth driving 40 minutes for every week for us!

I hope they grow into a large restaurant soon so that many more people can get to know them and enjoy...

Food is absolutely delicious!!! However the service on Friday night was shocking. A young teenager served my mum and I and her attitude was terrible, she really needs a lesson in customer service. Mum and I were confused by the difference between katsu Bento and katsu curry and after saying our order we decided to change to Bento rather than curry. Instead of saying 'no problem' the girl rolled her eyes at us and when I called her out on it she gave no apology or response. Then when collecting our order we smiled and said thank you and she gave us a scowl. The food is amazing and usually the service from the daughter who works there and the owners is brilliant but the Friday staff...
