This is a review of service, not the food, of the few biscuits I ordered for my children I can say they were of good quality so I imagine the rest of the food is also of a high standard. However. I took my family for breakfast, my husband was given a menu to choose from. He chose the eggs florentine, I went in to order his food for him, only to be told he can only order that on a sunday. You would only see that if you took the menus off the clipboard and why give that menu on a Saturday if you don’t serve it. The girl on the til turned to ask the chef if he would be able to do one as she agreed the menu was confusing(which i appreciated). The chef rudely said “no, come back tomorrow”. We won’t be coming back, ever, thanks. Rather spend my money somewhere with a better attitude towards customers

We were on a training course at the CSA and this was just around the corner. You can tell it’s food made with love. Delicious, fresh, plant based and good looking food you can’t wait to feast on. I went there 3 days in a row, and fellow students made a beeline thereafter. The cakes and chocolate selection looked scrumptious but I’m on a sugar fast right now. Maybe next time! Friendly relaxed and good service. Nice tables inside and out. Not cheap but understandably. Wish I’d tried their soup and their Friday fish n chips. The Donburi bowl which had tempura vegetables, the batter was light and crispy. Only open for lunch sadly.

A lovely spot for a bite to eat, slightly off the beaten track of the main shopping street but worth seeking out. The cafe has a lovely friendly atmosphere, options to sit indoors and outdoor and the work of local artists being exhibited on the walls is a nice touch. Dog friendly with water bowls available for dog owners. I came for Sunday brunch, the menu is all veggie with vegan and gluten free options available on request. I opted for shakshuka which arrived after less than ten minutes and was delicious, beautifully paired with the olive sourdough. Would definitely return here if I'm in the area again :)
