Greggs — Restaurant in Tamworth

I should point out a few things that have been bought up in other reviews for not just this particular store, but for Gregg's as a company. People complain that their sausage roll was cold. Gregg's don't sell hot food, they sell freshly baked food, it's not kept under a heating lamp. They bake small batches regularly to keep up with demand. They may run out of what you want but are always willing to offer something else for the same price as what you wanted or maybe even for free as a gesture of good will. I called in today and was shocked by the way I was spoken to. I politely asked for a sausage roll and I understand that certain questions will be asked such as are you eating in or taking away but the manner in which they were asked was very patronising and unprofessional and it made me feel very small. Who would have thought that serving a sausage roll could be such an irritant. I have never had reason to complain about a member of staff before as they are usually lovely...

Of the three Greggs establishments in tamworth this is by far my favourite! With the friendly and great communial atmosphere it is great to be able to enjoy an environment where the Staff and the customers enjoy each others company.
