KFC Tamworth

I haven't been to a KFC honestly in years, but I had my mother with me today and couldn't deal with her indecisiveness. She confirmed she wanted Chicken for lunch, so as it was so cold, we went through the drive thru. I just obviously went at the right time as when I pulled out, the line if cars in line for the drive thru was back up to the M&S island. Whilst the food was hot, tasty and the service was with a smile, if you are looking for fast food you may need to check what time you go. Fast, it was most certainly not. From watching the cars come and go, only 3 had moved out of sight for the time it took my mother and me to eat a 6 price bucket meal (6 pieces, fries and a drink) and believe me, my mother would win an award for how slow she is and how much she can moan! Anyway as mentioned, the food was fresh and hot. The chicken was tasty, all be it the spicy wings a bit too spicy for my taste, but if there was an option for a sour cream dip they would have been great. (KFC- maybe an idea???). The part of the drive thru when you get to pay and collect food is a bit narrow so that f you have a wide car, be carefull and watch your mirrors, but other than that, it was ok. It will probably be a while until I go back but that is not a reflection on KFC or this branch, more so that I don't really do fast food very often, but it was a nice change.
