The LightHouse Bar — Restaurant in Tamworth

I visited this establishment and was mortified by the customer service that was provided. I ordered a pint San Miguel with a dash of lemonade it was delivered to me and I tasted and it tasted like the syrup had gone so I asked for it to be changed, they then delivered me another one which also was not right I then passed it around 3 others that were with me and all said the same, it tasted off. I then asked for it to go back again to then be approached by a young lad no older than 20 to be told there was nothing wrong with it and they sell hundreds of these a week, I then advised him that there was something wrong I was then spoken to in a derogatory and inappropriate manner. The customer service was disgraceful I have never in my 40 years been spoken to like that and then to top it off the manager from behind the bar shouted ‘just tell him we will do him another drink’ and then charged for the drink sent back and the second drink!!!! A member of our party addressed these issues with the manager and the member of staff in question and was also subjected to the same poor quality and disrespectful customer service. I would not recommend visiting this establishment unless you would like to be treated in a disrespectful and inappropriate manner by staff who have been poorly trained in...

Very disappointed, me & 4 friends visited before seeing a show at the assembly rooms, I ordered a small diet coke & from under the counter the bar maid got a warm 2litre 99p bottle of cheap coke & poured me a glass, my friend had lemon & lime & again a warm 2 litre 79p bottle of lemonade was used. We complained & said it was false advertising, so the barmaid removed the labels from the bottles ? We were only having pop as both driving, the others had alcohol which were all fine, We asked to speak to the manager who we had seen on the premises but he never came out to us & another young man who was behind the bar dealt with us, the staff were polite & friendly & we had no issue with them at all. Where do I start. Had to pay £5 deposit on each table I booked and the £5 came of the total bill which wasn’t to bad as I thought it was going to be busy. But on arrival the establishment was empty and really there was no need to book tables unless you was going in peak times. The bar as only just reopened and hasn’t changed since the last time I went in there over 15 years ago. But I must say I won’t be going back to this bar as the staff were awful and didn’t resolve the issues we had with the greatest customer service they was ignorant rude offensive and out and right un professional especially the manager well I assumed he was the manager a black man who just stood behind the bar...
