Fablas Ice Cream Porthcawl — Restaurant in Wales

Never had a bad word to say about this place until today. Took my family for an ice cream as we've been several times before. My children were excited when they seen others leaving with there giant ice creams to then get served by a gentleman which ive never seen working there before. When receiving the ice creams from him not even scooped icecreams, they were slapped together and we left wondering where the ice cream was as they were tiny insize compared to others leaving the shop which had been served by the lady's working there. I refused to have one for myself due to being disappointed with the size of all the others. I upgraded my sons ice cream as it was tiny (ok for a baby not for an 8 year old) and then upgraded all the others to have extra scoops. I've never had to do this before. I'm not complaining about paying the prices just the inconsistency of portions between customers. I will not be returning and hope this get sorted so others customers don't experience the same issue. Rude woman serving can’t tell the difference between coffee ice cream and mint ice cream. Needs to learn some manners. When raised I was told I was wrong. Wouldn’t go back chucked it in the bin.

Response: Why would I phone your store and raise a complaint that I just raised in person? I am not surprised that you do not have respect for my comments as this matches what I experienced in your store. Disgusting attitude and a back handed apology. never had a problem with this place. literally massive scoops of ice cream not just a teaspoon or a tablespoon you get loads. very quick service and little waiting time, indore seating, staff are so nice and I love the atmosphere and how clean it is and how it just feels nice, highly recommend. update: I went again today cause I just can't stop, they didn't have chocolate ice cream left which is what I usually get but tbf it was a Sunday 5 minutes before they shut so it was expected, but instead, I got vanilla ice cream and they filled up a lot of the cone with chocolate and they were so generous with it too, staff...
