Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Walsall

Staff treated me like a criminal in their store, probably for taking advantage of EOTHO scheme. I am a regular Costa customer throughout the country and never have a been treated in such manner. I sat on probably the wrong table, sorry! However, I was approached in an extremely rude manner by a staff name Sam, as she wanted me to change my table while I was almost done with my coffee, as she was loud with her mask not even covering her nose, she made the entire shop look at me. I responded by saying, can you say the same thing politely please, which made her even more rude saying what table you want, I said whatever you tell me..... I was trying to be as easy as possible however, she was rude and nothing else. I am sorry, but I felt she would not have spoken to another person in the manner she did to me and I sincerely hope that I am wrong. I am only leaving this review as I feel humilated, please check your own CCTV and let me know if I was found rude in any shape or form and in any way? If you do, tell me and I will personally apologise, however, I assure you that you will find me extremely calm. On my way out I asked her for her name, instead of making it simple as it should be in customer services and hospitality, she said its on my name badge...... This is a nice coffee shop within the Art Gallery in Walsall. Plenty of room plus seating outside should the weather be nice enough.

We ride our bikes down the canal, and can lock then up outside whilst we have a drink / food, whereas you cannot take bikes into the Saddlers centre to go to the other Costa.

I suppose if you had walked your pet down the canal as well this would be ideal to have a pit stop before heading back.

Same selection of food / drinks as any other Costa and staff are friendly...

Great coffee snacks and service with easy access to the towns Art Gallery being in the same building. Great views of the canal basin with barges moored up too. Easy access to town even better Take your own sealable cup (clean) with lid aand get a price reduction on your drink ordered. Remember to get or have your Costa card ready, the points add up fast and you can redeem at any participating...
