The Castle Inn — Restaurant in Warwick

Had a brilliant time here Saturday night!! Can't speak highly enough of the place..absolutely lovely owner and lovely staff who made us feel soo welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the band (who doesn't love live music!), the atmosphere was great and the locals were friendly also.. I enjoyed sharing the dance floor with them for a few songs! As someone else has said, we loved the quirkiness, and it's so refreshing to drink in a place where the owner and staff seemed to genuinely enjoy being there and interact so well with everyone. We had the pleasure of chatting to and learning a little about the owner and her time in Moulin Rouge, and seeing a few moves 😉 amazing!! Popped in here after visiting Warwick Castle as it had good reviews and was nearby, with parking out the front. I was just expecting pub grub but what we got was an excellent dining experience. The food was amazing quality, the portions were not stingy at all despite how good it was. The service was exemplary, with friendly, attentive staff and prompt service. I will say that this is not a budget option for those who are needing a quick bite, but if you have a couple of hours to sit down and relax in a wonderful, charming atmosphere to enjoy some excellent food it is well worth the money. I had the soup of the day to start and the lamb for my main and they were both exquisite. The soup was so rich with flavour I wish I lived nearby so I could have it again. Good service & the staff were friendly and helpful, the drink was most refreshing and served with a smile, the staff and the landlady's have started to get more comfortable with the customers that use the establishment 🤗🤗. Jo & Suzie were their usual smiling and welcoming selves and you are made to feel relaxed in the pub 👍💕 Great service from the pub which is now open on Mondays as well 👍🍷🍺☕ the layout in the secret garden is lovely and you can relax and converse with friends easily while having a relaxing drink 🍻🍷🥂 Still a lovely pub to visit and as usual Suzie and Jo were great...
