We were recommended to come here for their Sunday banquet and it was incredible. Phenomenal value, £17.95 for a five course banquet. Full sized portions, delicious food and wonderful service. Very generous in the portion sizes, and generous in the meat content in each dish. Choice is from the main menu, so it's the full range. There is a slight upcharge for king prawn and a couple of other options but this is totally reasonable. Highly recommended the prawn puri to start, and the vegetable bhaji side dish, but everything was excellent. Couldn't eat it all, but tried our best! Would definitely come back, even mid week, although it's apparently busier then.

My son brought a take away on Sunday 1st September, he was violently sick for about 12 hours and had the next 2 days recovering from college. I have been going to this restaurant for about 15 years now and never had a problem. When I phoned up to communicate with them to let them know the situation they promised the manager would give me a call back. This did not happen so I was a bit disappointed as I was not after and free meals I just expected to be able to talk with them so they can make sure all their food was in date, also to check their procedures and processes are safe and to see who cooked the meal and make sure there is not a training issue, basically standard resolution risk analysis to protect other customers as these things do happen. After a second phone call I still have not been contacted back. I am angry and frustrated especially as I have been a loyal customer. I am writing this review as its my only cause of communication and I do so with a heavy heart. I now must report them to the food standards agency which is a shame. I am sure they may say my son could of had a sick bug but this should have been investigated and treated with respect. I am a reasonable person so again this whole episode is...

Against my principal I have to give one star which it doesn't warrant. Unfortunately the worst experience I have ever had, we have been before several times. Not a great choice in Witney now. We walked in on a Sunday at 18:30 for the banquet asking for a table for 2, yes we could accommodate you. We paid the usual extra for the poppadoms and ordered a couple of drinks. Felt really pressured and intimated to order..... When we did we were informed that we had to pay full price as we hadn't booked. I questioned why this was the case as nothing anywhere to state it. After saying that we would be leaving it was even more intimidating staff starting posturing I felt really threatened. We left and paid against what I really felt £17.95 for 2 drinks and poppadoms we didn't finish. So if you want good food, ambience friendly staff , please don't suffer the same misfortune that we did. I will never return to such an awful unfriendly intimidating place again. Stick to Oxford or a good takeaway from a...

I've never written anything online but was so incensed by my experience here i have too! Went to the Sunday banquet a couple of weeks ago with my Mrs, my parents and my 3 and 5 year old kids...for whatever reason by the time we came to the table my 3 year old boy was flagging and we could tell he was dropping off so we let him fall asleep and didn't bother ordering him anything, which thinking back i could tell when the waiter came to our table was annoying him but i didn't really think anything of it. The food was nice, we all enjoyed it but the service was slow however it was busy so understandable...then the killer blow, the bill. They charged us for our 3 year old boy as he was sitting on a chair at the table. Because it's the banquet it's charged per head, so even though he fell asleep as soon as we got there, and woke up just as we were leaving we still had to pay for the privilege of him sitting at one of their valuable chairs for the whole duration of our visit. Absolutely...
