Treatz Dessert Parlour — Restaurant in Woking

me, my boyfriend, my bestfriend, and her boyfriend came here saturday night at 10:40 pm, on the door it clearly says that the place is open until 12 (midnight). as we went to order we were told that all the machines were turned off, we struggled to order as the machines were turned off an hour and 20 minutes early, no waffles, no crepes, not even any milkshakes were available, we were more than just disappointed, on entry we got told there was no eating in available which is fair as some places only do take away after a certain time, but closing down all your machines an hour and 20 minutes before you’re due to close is an absolute joke, most of the staff were unprofessional about it, simply giving disgusting and a moany attitude to us about it despite us not being rude at all, all we did is ask why it said they were open until 12 if they’re turning everything off at 11:40… with no explanation. the only thing we could assume is that they were run by laziness and wanted an early close, there was a young boy serving us with a great attitude willing to help us as much as he could, but everyone else’s attitude was disgusting, as if they’ve never worked a day of customer service in their life. if your staff are too lazy to stay open until the time you have written on your doors then why keep them employed?? although the food was amazing the staff really do need working on, perhaps some more training, and they need to have a refresh of the...

Visited earlier today and ordered 2 large waffles. Bumped into relatives who also ordered 1 large waffle and a 2 cookie doughs shortly after.

Waited over 30minutes to receive the incorrect order. All of the waffles given to us were regular.

Went back to make them aware of this and the lady who served us at the till immediately said she had asked if we wanted regular or large. Which she didn't as we stated initially when ordering.

Then another staff member (assuming manager) took over refusing to accept they made a mistake. Until questioned on how 2 separate orders be taken down wrong (with the same mistake)?

She then said the girl who took our order has been working for 2 months, it must've been loud and caused miscommunication.

However, you'd have thought the least she'd do is offer to make the large waffles then. Instead of initially blaming us, as the customers.

Terrible service to be honest. I understand mistakes get made but there's clearly a recurrent issue and staff should take responsibility to rectify...

We came in for a treat on Monday afternoon in half term and had a nice time. It was clean, not too noisy, and comfy. The server was really friendly and helpful, couldn't have been nicer. Explained how to order and gave us plenty of time to choose (which we needed, as there is loads on the menu!). Once we ordered and sat down our order came quickly - our party ordered a bit of everything by coincidence and it was all really good. The only reason I gave 4 stars not 5 is that I would have liked a more toppings for the price of the crepe - it was nice but more banana would be good as it didn't go very far! A warm plate would keep the crepe hotter too, as it went cold quite quickly (obviously the ice cream was partly to blame, but a warm plate would keep hot dessert hot too). It's a bit pricey so definitely a treat not an every day thing, but we're on holiday and I would go back...
