Aunt Sally's — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Bad service. Paid for a meal for my frend and whilst I just ordered a patty. However, they forgotten to include the vegie pattie and dumplings into the bag. I redurned back after 10 minutes to sort it out ( I was hungry ). Yet the "chinese cook" was on some other stuff saying that the dumplin was free... I say "As if". No way would I get a free dumplin from a black owned restaurant. Plus if it was free why was i charged for it? Furthermore why didn’t he just give it to me there and then? My Friend ordered the additional dumplin and I paid for the whole meal. I had the receipt . Overall since i didnt want to be late for work and get a parking ticket trying to work it out, i just alloweed it as life is short.

Besdes I only wanted to get one of the fish meals. But everything i picked was out of stock despite being only 1pm on a tuesdsay. I guess its fine. I understand how it is. SO ordered a patty and chips with drink deal as a last resort... But, they were out of...

I used the services of Aunt Sally's yesterday for the first time and was absolutely blown away. I pre ordered 20 meals that were delivered to a local pub for a socially distanced 'wake'. I'd discussed with 'Aunt Sally's' daughter Yvette our needs, she was amazing, so understanding of our Covid restrictive needs and promised to go out her way to make our day special. Yvette kept her promise. We had individual large trays that contained Jerk Chicken/Curry Goat, Boneless Hake or Vegetable Curry, Rice n Peas, Fried Plantain, Fried Dumpling, Steamed Veg, Coleslaw and Salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal, they were really impressed. The food arrived on time, hot and well presented. I have never used the takeaway but would highly recommend their...

I don't write too many reviews but I just had to warn people about this place.

Yesterday 10/08/25 I ordered 2 curry's and rice and went to pickup at said time, turns out they hadn't even started preparing the food!! But no problem you can understand them being busy but what I saw next was disgusting and absolutely not acceptable.

The chef took a portion of pre-prepared curry goat from the oven plopped it in a takeaway box and then straight into the microwave for 3 minutes!! When on earth has this become an acceptable method of cooking?

The food tasted bland and you know why.

People save your money as its not cheap and try somewhere else that actually respects their customers enough to give them proper...
